Very nice place, we were welcomed by Marta and Lorenzo. Carefully prepared dishes, an immersion in the green! Also interesting is the Carcerato della Selva Oscura.
We will definitely be back!

Good food, but served a bit hastily. The portions of some dishes, like the buttons, are small. Our table had a very nice sofa for sure, but not very comfortable to eat on.

Space food, a new menu per season, therefore to be tried at least 4 times a year.
We have been going there for years and for years we have been amazed by the dishes, from the excellent raw materials, to the flavor you don't expect, through to Michelin-starred combinations and plating.
A place loved not only by vegetarians, but also by those who love to eat well.

In theory it's a vegetarian tavern, in practice you don't even notice. The dishes are so particular and good that you don't think about them at all. I like the idea of not having to think about what I'm eating, at least in this sense. Leavened products are devastating, I could have only eaten those. The desserts were good, but perhaps I was expecting something more.
The place is simple, perhaps a little bare and "sterile", but that's my taste, minimalist is perhaps the most appropriate term.
Four of us each had a starter, first course and dessert, 3 drinks in addition to water (combucha) and in total we spent around €60 each.

Veg Restaurant. In the heart of Appio Latino.
The environment is comfortable, the guys in the dining room are professional, kind and also knowledgeable about wines. The entree of various types of leavened products and the fried croquette with potato and onion are given to everyone. It is a winning card to "offer" but since we are talking about bread, pizza etc. it is best to ask first if there are allergies or intolerances.
These that you see are the spring menu and we took:
Mixed pasta "Mancini" escarole, sour butter and confit shallot. The pasta was a little salty. The escarole sauce with sour butter is a winning combination, neither of the two overlaps the other, you can feel the fattiness that the butter gives and the flavor of the vegetables, the shallot gives extra sweetness, excellent. For the second course; Braised artichoke, monray sauce and jus of Provençal herbs. Unfortunately the hard leaves of the artichoke remained, so I had to spit them out. You can use the outer leaves to make chips, soups, etc. so as not to waste the raw material. For the rest, the sauce was tasty while the jus was very neutral. I recommend bringing a spoon with this dish.

Ristorante Veg. (Ao non partì con preguidizi)
Stiamo nel cuore dell’Appio latino.
Il design del ristorante te fa già dì " qua becco solo verdure ". E' un posto giovanile ,i ragazzi in sala sono professionali ,gentili e preparati sui piatti e anche sui vini.
L’entree dei vari tipi di lievitati e la crocchetta fritta con patata e cipolla la danno a tutti, pe attappa la fame iniziale insomma. E' una carta vincente "offrire" alimenti ma siccome parliamo di cereali è sempre bene, prima di portare le portate, chiedere se c'è qualcuno che ha qualche allergia/intolleranza.
Questi piatti che vedi so già del menù primaverile, quindi se vedi sto post a giugno non c'è trovi niente di tutto ciò, comunque abbiamo preso :
Pasta mista “Mancini” scarola, burro acido e scalogno confit. La pasta era un po’ salata, la salsa di scarola con burro acido è un accoppiata vincente, nessuno dei due sapori sovrappone l’altro poiché si sente la grassezza che dà il burro e il sapore della verdura e lo scalogno da dolcezza in più. Finalmente è arrivata la loro stagione perciò il mio secondo piatto ; Carciofo brasato , salsa monray e jus di erbe provenziali . Purtroppo so rimaste le foglie dure del carciofo, aimè .. le ho sputate. Non se butta niente perchè le foglie esterne se possono utilizza per delle chips,vellulate ecc, per non sprecare la materia prima. Per il resto, la salsa era gustosa mentre il jus molto neutro .Consiglio di portare un cucchiaio insieme a questo piatto. Tornerò per il menù estivo ? dipende daje.
Excellent vegetarian restaurant. The menu includes a choice of four dishes for each course. Original recipes well prepared and particularly careful in presentation. Nice welcome with an appetizer offered by the chef. In our case, a potato and nutmeg croquette which, when put that way, seems banal, but it was certainly not one of those eaten elsewhere. Of course, the service and everything else is great too.

Locale spartano,ottimo per chi vuole mangiare vegetariano,buono l uovo confit in purea di patate come antipasto,buonissima la pasta mista con scarola ed il carciofo Brasato.Ovviamnete essendo un ristorante puramente vegetariano il menù cambia in base alla stagione.Buono anche il millefoglie al cacao
