Veg Restaurant. In the heart of Appio Latino.
The environment is comfortable, the guys in the dining room are professional, kind and also knowledgeable about wines. The entree of various types of leavened products and the fried croquette with potato and onion are given to everyone, these gestures are always appreciated.
These that you see are already the spring menu and we took:
Mixed pasta "Mancini" escarole, sour butter and confit shallot. The pasta was a little salty but it wasn't annoying. The escarole sauce with sour butter is a winning combination, neither of the two flavors overwhelms the other because you can feel the fattiness that the butter gives and the flavor of the vegetables, the shallot gives that extra touch of sweetness, excellent. For the second course I took the braised artichoke, monray sauce and jus of Provençal herbs. Unfortunately the hard leaves of the artichoke remained, so I had to spit them out. You can use the outer leaves to make chips or even for another dish so as not to waste the raw material, which is excellent. For the rest, the sauce was tasty while the jus was very neutral. I recommend bringing a spoon with this dish.

A vegetarian/vegan place that you absolutely must try in the Appio Latino neighborhood, about 700 meters from the Furio Camillo metro stop on Viale Cesare Baronio in the direction of Parco della Caffarella. A triumph of earthy flavors cooked to perfection, it's almost a sin to eat the dishes you choose. I suggest the lentil Kachori, delicious. Seitan with burnt broad bean hummus. Vegetables with a strong flavor and decidedly winning combinations. Highly recommended for those who want to try a cuisine that is not obvious or ordinary, honest prices, minimalist industrial place. The menu may have a limited choice of dishes, but they are all worth trying.

Excellent vegetarian restaurant. The menu includes a choice of four dishes for each course. Original recipes well prepared and particularly cared for in the presentation. Nice welcome with an appetizer offered by the chef. In our case, a potato and nutmeg croquette that, said like that, seems banal, but it was certainly not one of those you eat elsewhere. Of course, excellent service and everything else.

Spartan place, excellent for those who want to eat vegetarian, the confit egg in mashed potatoes as an appetizer is good, the mixed pasta with escarole and braised artichoke is delicious. Obviously, being a purely vegetarian restaurant, the menu changes according to the season. The cocoa millefeuille is also good

Excellent experience, from the service (and welcome) to the quality of the food to the quiet and welcoming environment. Certainly the most pleasant thing is discovering the flavors on the menu, which are truly excellent. The service and the professionalism and kindness of the staff were also greatly appreciated. The discovery of a new dish is more precious to mankind than the discovery of a new star. (Anthelme Brillat-Savarin). This and much more offers Misticanza, a restaurant that does not disappoint in anything. I had wanted to go there for a long time and every expectation was not disappointed. The dishes are works of art with unique flavors, the service is kind, welcoming and explanatory. Will be back soon.

Questo e molto altro offre Misticanza, un ristorante che non delude in nulla. Da tempo ci volevo andare ed ogni aspettativa non è stata delusa. Essendo vegana sono andata con tanto entusiasmo e fiducia...invece mi ha deluso! Eravamo in tre abbiamo preso tre primi e due secondi...le chiocciole insipide ed insapori, i fusilloni saporiti ma solo grazie al fungo chiodino, un pò meglio le fettuccine...il seitan non male, ma sinceramente, sotto l'aspetto alimentareha deluso le mie aspettative...il locale normalissimo, anche se cambierei i divanetti scomodi perché molto bassi rispetto ai tavoli...nota positiva: lo staff giovane e sorridente peccato che i piatti non sono arrivati insieme...infatti uno di noi ha dovuto attendere un pò...insomma non posso dare più stelle
