06/01/2025: Excellent restaurant, one of a kind, located on the outskirts of Roccafluvione, right next to the Fluvione River, in an ancient residence where there was a historic mill. It offers dishes with an inimitable flavor! We started with the hot and cold land appetizers, which contain all the flavors of local products: excellent ham, fragrant loin, truly excellent dried meat and liver sausages, crepes with fine black truffle, polenta with ragù white, hand-prepared stuffed Ascoli olives, veal carpaccio in extra oil with his majesty the truffle on top, bruschetta super, rocket, with self-produced parmesan and porcini mushroom soup... All prepared with competence and skill. First courses of fresh pasta, homemade, and excellent fresh meat and local lamb... we opted for the breaded lamb cutlets, with hot cremini and as a side dish the very fresh broccoli tips, garden products, sautéed in the pan . For dessert, a fabulous Zuppa Inglese, called "Pizza Dolce". Words cannot describe the feeling you get when tasting the dishes offered at the "Vecchio Mulino", you just have to try it to believe it!! To conclude the meal, a pleasant glass of Ratafia, a sour cherry elixir! Wide choice on the wine list, although the excellent house red wine is equally worthy of praise. Excellent value for money! Friendly and attentive owners. This restaurant can certainly be considered more "unique" than rare for its dishes that recall tradition: Passed with flying colors!!!
