Good and cheap restaurant with a good atmosphere

Mister Hyde, a stone's throw from Piazza Re di Roma, is a pub with a welcoming and well-furnished atmosphere, perfect for an evening with friends. We were there during the Italy match, so the chaos was understandable, being a pub, but the real problem was the service. Despite booking for 7 people, they assigned us a table for 4, forcing us to feel uncomfortable throughout the evening. The staff was evidently insufficient to manage such an event, with very long waiting times. The sandwiches arrived after half an hour and, unfortunately, they were completely undercooked, making them practically inedible. The rest of the food was mediocre - the chips seemed to simply be microwaved, with no particular attention to quality. The only positive note is the beer, which turned out to be very good, especially the Guinness, but alone is not enough to justify the bill. In the end, between the disappointing food, the wait and the inconvenience, we left unsatisfied. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the management of the service certainly needs to be improved. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon, at least not to eat.

A place that recalls typical Irish pubs, a little dark for my tastes, a negligible aspect considering the excellent sandwiches and, especially, the fries which I found to be spacey. I haven't had anything this good in a long time. Friendly service, not excellent in timeliness but still good.

Nothing to eat but interesting draft beer, friendly service, intimate atmosphere in perfect Irish style.
