Miramare In Gaeta

We stayed at this beach for a weekend. I would say that the bathrooms are very small, but the establishment allows both lunch and dinner by reservation. We haven't tried it yet. We stayed on the beach, the sea is exceptional, and they offer beach service with umbrellas and loungers... basically, tranquility and relaxation. We had the standard breakfast... The rest will be evaluated later.

I appreciate the consistency. We arrived without a reservation, and they decided whether or not to seat us due to staff shortages. They explained clearly that the first courses might be late. We were aware of this, so we ordered prosciutto and melon (very good) while waiting for the first courses. Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce for both arrived shortly afterward, without too much of a wait. I even mopped up the plates with bread! A simple order to help the kitchen, but we were extremely satisfied! Homemade cuisine and fair prices for the location and time of year. The wait staff was friendly and cheerful. I can't comment on the more elaborate dishes. I repeat, I appreciate the consistency and frankness during difficult times because, by ordering a simpler course, we ate better than at many other restaurants!
