This is by far some of the best food I have had in my life, and the service was absolutely incredible. Nino is the star of the show- from serving to cooking, he does it all. We told him to bring out whatever he wanted to- and what a great decision that was!! The mussels are fantastic and the bread is fresh out the oven. We ended our (very filling) 5 course meal with homemade limoncello sorbet that was to die for. I highly highly recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic dining experience!

Nino is a person who warms your heart, just like his authentic, genuine food. There are very few places in the world where you can truly feel the authenticity of the setting. Il Ministero della Brace is one of them. The fresh seafood appetizers are delicious and especially the stuffed ones are fantastic. Octopus alla Luciana and potatoes, rice, and mussels are the best ever. The grilled local fish is unique. There's a dish I'd never tried before that really struck me: the grilled mussels. Thank you, Nino, for meeting you and being your host. You're a wonderful person.

Last night was a memorable experience here at the Ministero della Brace, from the delicious, authentic, and high-quality food, prepared with care and passion, to the wonderful hospitality of the owner and staff. Nino was happy to stay with us to share his intense and valuable story. A truly special place.

Nino is a force of nature, full of personality and a life to tell, as confirmed by the grilled mussels, which are EXCELLENT. The potatoes, rice, and mussels are equally delicious (we tasted them quickly). I wanted spaghetti with mussels, but the waitress Lidia recommended triangular spaghetti with octopus sauce... very tasty! Finished with a bottle of NINONCELLO, quality chatter... a place like few others left.

This place was truly a surprise. The food was delicious, starting with the marinade and the grilled mussels (original recipe), moving on to the rice, potatoes, and mussels, the octopus ragù, and finally the onions, to the taste of the chef and owner. Highly recommended. My girlfriend and I went there, and we honestly consider ourselves to be quite refined eaters, and we were absolutely satisfied and amazed. The owner gives excellent advice, so I suggest you follow his advice; he also has a lot to tell you. P.S.: When you're standing outside, it might not tell you much, but do yourself a favor and come in.

We visited this quaint restaurant in the heart of Mola di Bari's historic center a few nights ago. Drawn by the charming and welcoming atmosphere, Mr. Nino greeted us as soon as we entered, smiling and welcoming. We ate excellent rice, potatoes, and mussels—my favorite dish; my husband enjoyed excellent grilled sea bream. The mussels were delicious, definitely worth a try. Good value. We're returning to Naples, but as soon as we're back in Mola, we'll definitely be back. Well done, Mr. Nino.

It's like being at your grandmother's house. Plus, it's located in the historic center, which also allows you to visit the country's best cultural and historical attractions.

Trattoria di altri tempi con cucina pugliese tipica e autentica in un ambiente retrò. Ottimi gli antipasti e in particolare le squisite cozze arroste. Anche i primi tradizionali ottimi e saporiti. Una sfilza di liquori fatti dal proprietario simpaticissimo termina una cena memorabile. Prezzi molto buoni se non economici.

Locale informale ma accogliente, con pochi coperti e tavoli disposti in maniera da consentire comodità a tutti i clienti. Nino Acquaviva è un padrone di casa dai modi sbrigativi ma sempre cortesi e attenti alle richieste di ciascun avventore. Ottimo, freschissimo e abbondante il crudo di mare, le alici marinate all'arancia e le cozze nere scottate alla brace dell'antipasto; molto bene il riso, patate e cozze e il secondo con sgombri e polpo alla brace. Sublime la focaccia con la cipolla, quella "semplice" e il pane caldo. Per finire, un ottimo sorbetto al limone e poi ci siamo "persi" negli assaggi di una dozzina di liquori fatti in casa (ulivo, chicchi di melograno, menta, bergamotto, grappa alla genziana, grappa bianca, carciofo, agrumi e... altri) Il costo? Assolutamente onesto, a fronte di una qualità complessiva davvero notevole.
