Nice looking, I expected more, a fairly refined and well-decorated place. The waiter was a bit distracted, took my partner's plate away before she'd finished hers, and the pizzas arrived practically three minutes after the fried food, so you inevitably either stop eating the fried food or eat the cold pizza. The latter was also wrong, but I ate it anyway. Good, not the best, but good. Prices are average, except for the cover charge (€3 per person, a rip-off for me).

In Avellino it is perhaps the best you can have, all in all not bad. Prices not very high.

Nice little restaurant on the main street of Avellino. Decent prices, Italian service. We had to wait for lunch because they opened at 12.45.

Historic and elegant, the pizza is excellent, all the fish-based dishes are excellent and the meat is delicious. Wide choice of wines. Ideal place for lunch and dinner. Very kind staff and owner 👍 highly recommended 👍🏼

Ristorante La Scintilla

22/07/2025: We stumbled upon this place while passing through and had a great time. Besides offering a wide range of starters, it seems to me to be essentially a grill restaurant with a large section of the menu dedicated to special cuts and types of meat. We shrugged our heels and ordered a very fresh seafood appetizer, followed by a mixed roast of meat, fish, lamb, and tuna, with sides of broccoli, potatoes, and mushrooms. The dishes were huge, and even though we enjoyed everything, we couldn't finish them. The service was no-frills but efficient. The bathrooms were clean and the bill was fair.
28/06/2025: Di passaggio siamo arrivati in questo posto e ci siam trovati benone. Oltre a una proporre molti primi mi sembra sia sostanzialmente una braceria con una gran sezione del menù dedicata a tagli e tipi di carni speciali. Noi abbiamo volato basso e ordinato dopo un antipasto di mare molto fresco, un arrosto misto di carne, uno di pesce,uno di agnello, e uno di tonno con contorni di broccoli, patate e funghi. I piatti erano enormi e nonostante avessimo apprezzato tutto non siamo riusciti a finirli. Il servizio senza fronzoli ma efficiente Bagni puliti Conto onesto
