Very nice and alternative place. I liked everything: from the welcoming environment to the kind service, to the fantastic dishes. Also, I tasted kombucha for the first time. It is a very particular fermented tea, very good and an excellent non-alcoholic aperitif, it is not sweet. The taste was basil, I highly recommend it. I was also surprised by the saor pumpkin with caramelized onion and raisins, truly delicious. We had lunch with a little dog weighing almost 2 kg, who was treated very well. I booked online and had to enter my details and credit card at the beginning. This seemed a bit unusual to me, but since we are not used to it in Italy, this is actually how it works abroad. I find it to be a correct choice; it takes respect, not only on the part of those offering the service, but also on the part of the customers. I can't wait to taste the breakfast of champions. I think the price is more than fair.

Very good Italian food, cacio e pepe pasta and supli are amazing. They have great selection of wines. Whenever we were there the place was almost full. A nice atmosphere if you like crowded places. Perfect place in Trieste for a quick lunch.

I've been for both lunch and breakfast a few months apart. My thought is that it is a better place for breakfasts than for the full meal. The price of the dishes at lunch is high but, if it were justified by the right harmony and explosion of flavours, I would justify it and return. This is not the case. In particular, the spaghetti cacio e pepe had an excessively sweet taste and the cream was too liquid. I only half enjoyed tasting the oils as the bread used was not suitable. It has a strong and covering taste and a too airy texture, so the oil tends not to soak into the crumb but to flow beyond (the same bread is used for the couvert...). I was sorry not to be able to fully appreciate the taste of the quality oils. The tartare was okay. My rating for lunch, given the expectations, price and dishes, is insufficient.
The situation changes when it comes to breakfast. I ate bacon, eggs and buttered bread for 7 euros. The eggs to recommend, excellent; unfortunately the bacon was "boiled", soft and undercooked instead of crispy and toasted. Nonetheless, the dish was good overall and the price was appropriate. I was told the avocado toast was excellent.

I'm not a vegetarian but I really appreciated the various soup options (delicious and almost never found in a restaurant), so much so that I went back with friends for dinner (which they appreciated). The rest is also good, including desserts.
Very kind staff (and with me I had such a sensitive friend who even appreciated a slightly lively nearby table, that he went back even just for this miracle 😀!)

Fue nuestro primer almuerzo en estas pequeñas tratorias italianas muy amables. La comida era muy deliciosa y con una buena copa de vino tinto hace hermosa la tarde.

Esta trattoria muy local - orientado nos sirvió una comida increíble para el almuerzo. La tagliatela fresca se estaba haciendo en una mesa grande al lado de la nuestra, y tuvimos la oportunidad de experimentar la alegría de comerla inmediatamente después, cubierta con trufa afeitada. Un plato más simple, pero elegante no existe. Extraordinario. El propietario visitó nuestra mesa para hacer sugerencias (y ayudar con las traducciones Inglés / italiano) , y se aseguró de que no me fui sin postre (un pastel de chocolate sin harina etéreo).
Solo nos enteramos de este lugar por el conserje de nuestro hotel. Fuera de los caminos turísticos trillados, todavía es fácil de llegar (pero fácil de caminar si no estás buscando).
