We were well looked after, nice food and nice place but choice was a little limited for us.

First time in this restaurant. Attentive and fast service (even though it was Saturday evening and the place was full), excellent choice of wines, well cooked and good quality food, I gave 4 stars only because the portions were a little small, given that they would be fine for us, but if you are a good eater they could be a little scarce. Even the glass, an extra finger would make the difference, but we are in Zena.... Anyway, well done, we'll be back when we have little appetite! Of course I'm joking

Typical place with a beautiful wine shop, traditional and well-made dishes, the only flaw is the service that is a little inattentive to the small "pampering of customers" and the price is a little above average in my opinion.

Restaurant located in the historic center of Genoa, a stone's throw from Piazza De Ferrari and Via XX Settembre, which has always been the walkway of the Genoese. Excellent quality food and a wide choice of wines (adjacent there is the wine shop of the same name) are the flagship, the kindness and friendliness of the restaurateur, of the service staff as well as small but welcoming rooms complete the picture. Fair prices for the food and wine quality offered. Recommended for everyone, Genoese and tourists who love good Italian cuisine.

I thought I had already reviewed in the recent past, after a not pleasant nor at all welcome experience, but, not finding it, I immediately remedy it. First of all, I was a fairly regular customer until a couple of years ago, let's say cyclically once or twice a month, and with satisfaction for both the food and the wines. This time, however, I had a really bad experience, first of all for the pumpkin tortelli with a filling so bland and tasteless, as it was almost exclusively made of soaked bread, that they were almost inedible. But, secondly, above all for the indecent and embarrassing slice of about 3 millimeters of BLACK truffle placed in the middle of the plate... I have never seen anything like it, considering that Genoa had just been the truffle week, also because I was dining à la carte, and not having dinner with the cheap lunch break menu. If you add the above to the overly affected (but lacking elegance) manner of the waiter, who when I ask for a little cheese first allows himself to question whether "it goes in or not", then shows up slightly annoyed at my table with a level teaspoon of grated cheese and spreads half of it on my small plate, and the other half on my leg... I'll leave the comments to you! In short, a big worsening, obviously limited to what is my very personal opinion. Three 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 instead of one exclusively for the usual expertise and savoir-faire of the owner.

Food in line with seasonality, excellent dinner based on fish and artichokes! Excellent wine, perfectly recommended by the dining room staff. Trained and helpful staff also regarding allergens. Super recommended, we will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant. As a first course I took very good Pansoti with marjoram. My Mother on the other hand was excellent Spaghetti with prawns. The second course is excellent fried breaded anchovies. Like grandma's sweet apple pie. Fast precise service and polite staff. Fair prices given the quality of the food.
