Questo simpatico ristorante, posto nel cuore del centro storico, offre le specialità più tipiche della cucina salentina. Sono bravi, scrupolosi e attenti a non allontanarsi dal solco della tradizione e questo, indubbiamente, è il suo punto di forza. Alcuni piatti sono strepitosi! Le "sagne 'ncannulate" e i "pezzetti" di cavallo, per esempio, sono assolutamente da assaggiare. Poi ci sono la "pitta" di patate e la parmigiana, così buone che non si può non ordinarle. Non mi sono piaciute, invece, la cicorie saltate con i pomodorini: legnose e poco saporite. Sono assolutamente da migliorare (anche nella scelta delle materie prime).

Authentic and wonderful corner where you can breathe the Salento air, under a stone arch, outdoors even in winter, but heated (it also has a small room indoors). The restaurant is very small and characteristic, the menu is displayed on a blackboard and offers typical Salento dishes from appetizers (pittule, potato meatballs) to second courses (gnumareddi). We tried the horse meatballs and the mixed veal meatballs and they were both excellent. Also good are the mozzarella in carrozza and the platter with fresh goat's cheese and pizza de cristu (which is a spicy salami). As first courses we tasted the spaghetti with hill olives and pistachios with caciocavallo and the very tasty tortelli in broth. We then wanted to try the bowlers which everyone agreed on their goodness. Everything was accompanied by a Saturnino rosé wine. The owner was extremely friendly, he affectionately told us how he welcomes and takes care of the neighborhood's stray cats, who wandered around the tables looking for food and cuddles. This place made us feel at home, we had a very pleasant evening. We will definitely return to try the other dishes. Highly recommended.

Very spartan but also very particular environment, excellent food, all fresh stuff, and kind waiter. I recommend the spaghettoni with olive pesto and Gaudenzio tiramisu, but I wouldn't overlook the tart with orange and walnut jam.

A place that captivates with its intimate, intimate and informal atmosphere, but with always attentive and polite service. Perfect for a dinner with friends, as was my case. The food? Exceptional. I had the pleasure of enjoying a truly memorable first course: tagliatelle with chestnuts, an explosion of autumn flavours. As a second course, the grilled bombette, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The wine cellar also deserves a mention: the selection is interesting and well curated. Tappa obbligatoria delle nostre vacanze che non ci delude mai! Spaghettoni con pesto di olive celline eccezionali, solo quelli valgono il viaggio. Buona la pasta e ceci,così come le orecchiette. Bombette davvero tenere, tiramisù buonissimo. Lo consiglio e spero di ritornarci alla prossima vacanza. Complimenti!
