Entire staff are lovely and go above and beyond, really don’t think you’ll find better, even at ‘the White Lotus’ from my experience.

We ventured in for cocktails and relaxed on cosy couches with olives, almonds and a view that takes your breath away. We'll absolutely come back to stay!

Stayed four nights at Metropole, and it was absolutely the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. The location was perfect and the room was beautiful with a stunning view, and everyone was warm and friendly. Maria’s city tour was wonderful-she introduced us to hidden gems around Taormina that we would’ve never found on our own. Thank you, Giuseppe, for the beautiful breakfast photos and your kind hospitality each morning. We definitely want to come back again!

Sparking room, amazing location, friendly service and Italian breakfast! We are having a lovely time here at Hotel Metropole Taormina. We also enjoyed Cannolo making session by Maria. She shared history about this sweet then we created our own Cannolo which I enjoyed after a long walk. If you’re looking for a place with a view, relaxing atmosphere but in a convenient location, Hotel Metropole is the answer.

Our hot water didn’t work. I asked them to fix it twice and they ended up fixing it an hour before we left. Location and service are both great but the rooms could be better take care of.

Just had lunch at this hotel. Absolutely beautiful. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking. I had the Caprese salad and the tomatoes and mozzarella were SO fresh. Excellent service!! Our waiter was incredible. He was very professional, kind and told us all about the city and area. A truly remarkable experience. Must try. Very modern and clean hotel.

Perfetto per una cena romantica, una celebrazione speciale o semplicemente per chi desidera godere del meglio che Taormina ha da offrire, in un’atmosfera rilassata e di classe. Ristorante Bellevue è il luogo dove la bellezza del paesaggio incontra l’eccellenza della tavola. Un’esperienza che lascia il segno, da vivere lentamente, sorso dopo sorso, boccone dopo boccone.

Hotel Metropole has provided the best experience for us at this point in our lives. Of course Taormina itself is stunning but this hotel, its staff, its location, its elegance is what takes your Taormina experience to the next level. Right from the start, the warm greeting, attention to every detail, and genuine kindness was felt. The decor and comfort level made this unique hotel special. Maria the experiences coordinator was a true gem. She scheduled special events and invited all of the guests (only 27 rooms). We were able to join her for a canollo class, a mojito class, a walking tour and a talk about the beautiful Mt. Etna. The best part…this benefit was all included with our stay. The front desk team helped us arrange day trips, train trips, taxi pick ups, boat tours and dinner reservations. It was nice to sit back relax and truly enjoy Taormina. We will definitely return one day. And hope that everyone gets a chance to experience this incredible hotel.

Nice for drinks on the terrace. Pricey but good cocktails and good service and extras.

The service at this hotel was superior. Lucia, Giuseppe, Carlo, Enza, Irene, and Maria are some of the names I remember. There was a black woman at the front desk who was also so helpful. The bartenders used the finest ingredients and truly made a high end cocktails. All of the staff at breakfast would remember our rooms at the end of the week and get us things without us having to order. Our rooms were made up twice daily. The only downside was there was no fitness area and some people in our group had no drawers for their clothes and few hangers. Our room was fine though. Gorgeous setting and location. It was a fantastic place to stay. We loved it !
