Meteo Restaurant - GILF In Merano

Insanely great atmosphere. Food & wine fantastic. Service was very friendly, but on the evening of our visit we were a bit surprised by the heavy rush and as a result a bit overloaded. The result was longer waiting times. But since it is very beautiful here, that didn't bother us.

The place is amazing, really. From the fantastic furnishings to the tiles (even in the bathrooms). The menu is very interesting, yet unexpected. Reading friggitelli or 'nduja is always a pleasure, and in fact trying these dishes we were pleasantly surprised - a little less so by passatelli, but I must admit that I'm too well used to it. We then ate a risotto with apple and popcorn, really interesting. I defined the place as funky, and that's why even choosing the wines in the cellar upstairs or the extremely 'dry' service make the experience truly pleasant. We then drank an incredible red turnip liqueur. Another positive note: the background music was perfect. I understand some negative reviews as Meteo is particular and not really for everyone, but certainly for many - like me and my friends last night - it is truly exceptional. Worth trying in the summer at dusk.

Un menù veramente originale, un servizio estremamente competente ed amichevole, un posto dove sentirsi bene con cibo di grandissima qualità. Una delle migliori cene degli ultimi anni. il locale mantiene l’impronta degli anni delle sue origini, leggermente rinnovata con eleganza d’inverno la sera la sala meriterebbe una temperatura più alta ( idem per il bagno). A parte questo Meteo offre un’esperienza imperdibile.

A real gem! The restaurant impresses with creative, surprising cuisine that makes every dish an experience. The very beginning - for example with morning apple, olive oil, pink pepper and sea salt - shows the innovative approach. The vegetarian dishes are imaginative and the secondi are perfect. The service is professional and attentive. A special highlight: the wine selection. Agatha surprises you with great, exceptional wines for every course. A place that really inspires and exceeds every expectation!

Für mich das beste und interessanteste Lokal in Meran. Zusammen mit meinem Mann waren wir hier essen und trinken.Beides konnte uns voll überzeugen

We ended our wedding day with a fabulous meal there. If we go on vacation to Merano again, we would love to come back for dinner. The menu was outstanding and creative. We had an unforgettable evening. Thank you.

Unique restaurant with unique cuisine. It's worth ordering several dishes to taste them together. Fantastic tiramisù

Nice place above the river. Food was ok. Could have been a little warmer. Service was chilly. Wine selection complicated. One wonders about the very good reviews and awards.
