It's just great! We've been there for the 4th time, a must on every holiday. The food, service and ambience are simply outstanding!

The truth is that the place is very curious and the waiters are really friendly. But I don't understand the 4.9 out of 5 rating it has right now. It is a very inaccessible and difficult place to find although that adds some charm to it. We were there at night but I imagine that during the day the views must be outrageous. Dinner is a set menu that begins with a plate of homemade cheeses and other local appetizers that are quite original and delicious. Also a pumpkin cream. Then some very delicious homemade spinach ravioli. Then a mint sorbet that I would have skipped. The main dish is some fried potatoes as if they were an empty dumpling inside, with sour cabbage on the side. I didn't like this dish at all, especially for a main dish. For dessert, a chocolate mouse that I thought was good. Come on, the food is good and above all a curious and original place, but the food is not 4.9 stars out of 5 for my taste. Thank you for your kindness, the staff is lovely.

Absolutely fantastic end to our holiday in Selva. We have probably never eaten in a restaurant with so much charm. This refers to the lovingly furnished inn, the excellent service and the authentic Ladin food made from regional products. Everything was just right here, from the mulled wine as a welcome after our walk to the restaurant to the grappa at the end, which you could choose from a large selection. For each dish, the origin and method of preparation were explained to us in detail and passionately - it was simply great. The only suggestion for improvement was that we would have liked 1-2 more ingredients for the delicious main course (Grosti with sauerkraut) to give it more variety, otherwise the food was first class. Many thanks to the whole Paratoni team for this great evening!

A parte il cibo e il servizio, sulla cui qualità non si discute nemmeno, l'esperienza in questo maso è stupenda già solo per la storia che si respira in questa antica costruzione, da dieci generazioni di proprietà della stessa famiglia. Il consiglio è di prenotare una cena all'orario di aperura serale, cosicché sarete in pochi e il proprietario sarà lieto di farvi visitare tutte le salette che un tempo erano stanze dove dormivano fino a trentasei persone. Poi dedicatevi ad assaporare le specialità che vi proporranno. Non c'é una carta, si mangia quel che la cësa offre, tanto è tutto buono, preparato con cura, servito con squisita gentilezza e tutte le spiegazioni del caso. Ricordate solo che qui si paga in contanti, niente carte di credito. All'uscita, lungo il percorso da fare a piedi, nel tratto senza luce, alzate la testa e ammirate il cielo stellato, un altro spettacolo da non perdere.

Posto incredibile gestito da persone deliziose. Menu fisso composto da circa 6 portate che cambia di stagione in stagione. Il posto è aperto a cena soltanto dal giovedì al sabato ed è necessaria la prenotazione. Cucina molto semplice ma fatta con prodotti locali. Ho adorato tutto dal cibo al posto compresi la vista meravigliosa sulla valle e la mise en place
