Meridiana In Bellano

A truly idyllic spot... The Meridiana is a charming, lovingly run hotel right on the lake in Bellano. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel's restaurant were excellent. A must-try, recommended by the chef, was the Parmigiana Vegetariana! Better than our family recipe, which is saying something... 😉! But what really makes the hotel special are the manager, Angelo, and the staff. Everyone has a smile on their face, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, and you can tell they genuinely love their jobs. An absolute recommendation; it couldn't have been better.

Everything was perfect. From the check-in, the view, the room, and the breakfast, it was superb. The only downside was the tiny parking lot, which was necessary because of our small car.

We stayed at this fantastic hotel in the family room: a dream. Two spacious rooms and an outdoor space, everything beautifully designed, brand new, and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner are served on a glass-enclosed veranda overlooking the lake, simply enchanting. A word of praise also goes to Alice and Angelo, who were so attentive, friendly, and kind; very professional and always available. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

A mixed experience in a hotel that presents itself as upscale. The room is cramped and not a true double room: it consists of two single beds pushed together, each with its own small duvet. The lack of a proper double bed and a large duvet clearly detracts from the comfort and doesn't live up to the advertised standard. The soundproofing is also inadequate: noise from neighboring rooms is clearly audible, impacting the quality of sleep. On the other hand, the location is ideal, a five-minute walk from the city center, with a pleasant view of the lake. Special mention goes to the breakfast, a real highlight of the stay: high-quality products, a nice selection of sweet and savory items, and a well-presented, clearly upscale buffet. A mixed experience overall, with breakfast significantly improving the overall experience.

I only made a 10 minute stop for a coffee but I managed to see a bit of the restaurant which is in a beautiful location with an excellent view of Lake Como, there is also an accessible beach nearby.

This boutique hotel was more than wonderful and directly overlooked Lake Como.The room was spacious, clean with a large amazing balcony that feels as if it is right inside the lake. The view was absolutely breathtaking. In addition, the staff’s service was exceptional, especially “Angelo”.
