We had an early (for Italy) dinner in the restaurant part, & had the meat & fish tasting menu. The building is amazing, a very old ex palazio, very stylishly decorated & comfortable. While the food was fantastic, the service was the standout, especially from our wait staff, Luigi and Pascuale who really made our meal special. Was on the more expensive side for Pompeii (cheaper than south of England), but definitely worth it.

I visited Mercato Pompeiano on March 8th and had a fantastic experience! The restaurant is located in a historic and charming location, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The staff was friendly and professional, always ready to offer advice and meet my needs. The food was exceptional, with fresh and beautifully presented dishes. I highly recommend Mercato Pompeiano to anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality culinary experience in Pompeii. It would be fantastic to visit again soon!

Excellent food, servers are phenomenal, paired local wine with food. Quiet, looks nice with all the “lava rock look”. Would come back again for sure.

04/12/2025: Charming wine bar with excellent service and a wonderful relaxing outdoor space. The service was quick and food was really tasty. The owners English was good and we were made very welcome indeed.
27/11/2025: Best pancetta bruschette ever! Lovely place with passionate owners with attention to detail. Back a day later, even better! Salumi and cheese platter... some cocktails. Brilliant. Our favourite place in Napoli.
