One of the best franchises for getting a good coffee.

This morning I finally had my usual American coffee and Jonny from Mentelocale in Principe asked me for hot water to add to the coffee if I wanted it on the side... he's the FIRST one who asks me, I usually tell him otherwise if I forget they'll make me a cup that looks like broth... 👌

If you come and find her, know that you'll get excellent service! She's helpful, great company, and communicative. The place offers all kinds of specialties, from pizza to brioche, toast, or even chicken rice if you haven't had lunch. And if you're wondering if my opinion is biased or fake, then go there, and it goes without saying that you'll be amazed.

Today, Sunday, March 29th, I went with my husband for breakfast. There were two new girls there—at least we've never seen them—who were incredibly rude. They made comments about customers, and they don't listen to their requests. The final highlight was the bill, €7.30 (cappuccino €1.90, cappuccino €2.20, chocolate scone €1.90, focaccia €1.30), yet we pay less during the week. What a shame...

I've been going there periodically for about three years, and unfortunately, it's getting worse and worse. The focaccia is basically bread and (a little) oil now. Frozen croissants are reheated hastily. And the prices have gone up.

The atmosphere is very welcoming, as is the staff. An excellent option for those who are short on time but want to enjoy a leisurely meal. Fast service and a wide range of menu options. I recommend it.

The decaf coffee is excellent, and the focaccia is something you wouldn't expect from MenteLocale! Well done, guys!
