Melchionni Café In Alessandria

Ho provato un aperitivo analcolico; molto delicato, servito con patatine e tre piattini raffinati. Forse avrei messo meno ghiaccio nel cocktail. Ambiente elegante in centro ad Alessandria. Lo consiglio e sicuramente ci tornerò per provare i piatti della cucina.

Muy bonito lugar, bien amueblado con un gusto retro - elegante. Buena elección de bebidas y vinos, con especialidades locales. Bonita fórmula de aperitivo con mini platos sabrosos y bastante estructurados. Servicio bastante atento y alojamiento de todas las necesidades culinarias particulares. Súper central.

Food, service, staff, all excellent :) Maybe a little more light at the tables in the back, where we were, wouldn't have hurt.

Three stars because the place is nice and there was live music, unfortunately I had to downgrade my old review because the service left a lot to be desired. My wife asked for an Aperol with soda water without ice and it arrived with a ton of ice inside, a mistake can happen, they remade it for us. The bad thing is that before the Aperol a mini tasting arrived for her (she had asked for a bit more because for us it was an aperitif/dinner) and I think they should have been served together anyway. So after the Aperol change we asked for something else to eat for my wife, gourmet courses are fine but we would also like to eat... after a good 20 minutes we left without having eaten anything else, rather annoyed. I managed to eat an excellent cod but I gave up on the second course, it's fine to wait but at a certain point that's enough. Now, I respect the work, the courtesy of the staff and I hope that in the future they will be able to manage the orders better, especially at a time of the evening when the bulk of the work had already passed and the room was half empty. As said, a mistake can happen and my personal experience must not cast a bad light on a good level place, it is just a review that I hope can be useful to avoid dissatisfying the customer in the future and I hope to be able to improve it as an evaluation.

Nice surprise(s), good Piedmontese classics revisited. Lunch for 6 in weeks, the room is quite quiet. The service is pleasant and patient. The menu, somewhat confusing, offers an antipasto, a primo and a second in different universes. Variations are possible and you can just take one dish for example. Each dish is a derivative of Piedmontese culinary culture with a little touch of madness: saffron with cocoa butter (superb), Fassona tartare with seeds, roasted ghiozas, etc. Nice menu of good cocktails, but limited wine list by the glass.

Excellent food, very honest prices, top! The Fassina tartare with the chamomile shot was really spot on, congratulations! They also have some vegan options, which is rare and always appreciated
