For a wine purchase, the owner takes the time to understand the wishes and the budget, also offers to taste it all with a smile and a lot of professionalism in the advice!

One the best discoveries on a recent visit to Bologna. Owner/manager etc happy and keen to recommend wines, especially local ones and let you taste. Limited seating indoors and outside but not a bad spot to stand under the portico and watch the world go by. Paid about 7 euros for a glass of some very nice wines.

Great wine bar. The lady who greeted us made us feel very welcome and allowed us to sample a variety of wines. The wine range is extremely extensive.

22/08/2024: Celebrated my mother's birthday here...a unique and unforgettable culinary experience. I have tried many top-level restaurants but Ensama beats them all on all fronts, quality of the raw materials, plating, location and service. 5 stars are few, if I could I would give a thousand. Cod with truffles will remain in our dreams for a long time and every dish will remain in our memory, starting from the sublime homemade bread. When they served me the raw fish I took a minute to contemplate a wonder I had never seen before. Thanks to the owner and Chef Sabino for giving us a wonderful, unique and unforgettable culinary experience.
24/07/2024: Everything was excellent from the moment we set foot in the restaurant. A superlative food and wine experience.

10/12/2024: We had lunch on Sunday 8 December as we were visiting Bologna for some photographic exhibitions. The place was, as expected given the doubly festive day, quite crowded, despite this we were quite comfortable and the service was not only impeccable and full of thoughtfulness and kindness but was also relatively quick. The tortellini in broth taken, I would say de rigueur given the period, were simply sublime, as was the Bolognese cutlet taken as a second course. All washed down with good quality wine and beer. As a kind gift we were offered a focaccia at the start of the meal and some sweets with limoncello at the end. A point of reference when we return to Bologna!
06/12/2024: Amazing place! Right from the entrance everything was great. The service, starter, wine (house), mains, dessert, coffee and free limoncello at the end. And waiter can also speak some Polish…(no, not the word you are thinking about) :)
