Médousa Bistrot & Suites In Taormina

A beautiful boutique hotel in the historic part of Taormina (between Porto di Catania and Piazza Duomo). It's a historic building with a garden and relaxation area. We had a delicious dinner at the Bistrot. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The design is interesting. The charming, long-haired, and beautiful receptionist always took care of us and helped us with every need. I highly recommend it – if you're in Taormina, Méodusa Bistrot & Suits is the place to be.

Wife and I just finished four nights in the suites and had an amazing time. Tomas is such a great host. We were not familiar with Taormina so picking a place to stay was sort of a toss of the dice and we lucked out. The location was perfect, literally five steps from the city gate. So close to everything, yet nice and quiet. Our room was perfect with a very nice terrace to sit out and relax for a minute. Breakfast every morning was great, just enough to get the day started. Unfortunately we are late sleepers so I usually grabbed food and ran it back up to the room. We would have liked to sit on the patio to eat, but that’s on us. If you don’t know about Taormina, parking is very difficult. We laid the extra to have our car parked by the staff and it was worth it. The staff here is really warm and welcoming and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Our stay at Médousa Bistrot & Suites was truly unforgettable. The stunning views of Mount Etna from the property are breathtaking — waking up to that sight each morning felt magical. The rooms themselves are beautifully designed with so much attention to detail, combining comfort with style in a way that makes you feel instantly at home. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of Taormina, yet still calm enough to relax and enjoy the charm of the surroundings. And of course, a special mention goes to Carmen, whose humor and energy brought an extra spark to our stay and left us smiling every day. A perfect mix of views, comfort, and atmosphere — highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at Médousa Bistrot & Suites. First off, the location is unbeatable — tucked just steps away from the main attractions, with charming streets, shops, cafés, and that timeless Sicilian atmosphere right on your doorstep. You truly feel immersed in all the magic Taormina has to offer. But what elevated the experience from great to unforgettable was Carmen. She is an absolute game-changer for this place. With her sharp, sarcastic wit she lit up every day of our stay and gave us so many smiles. She balances warmth, humor, and just the right amount of cheeky banter — it felt like staying with someone you’d been friends with forever. In short: stunning location, stylish lodging, and the sparkle that is Carmen. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in Taormina with a side of laughter and personality.

Just finished our stay at Médousa and loved every moment of it - the room was beautifully appointed with robes and slippers, high end toiletries, Smeg coffee machine to make our own freshly ground coffee in the morning and a comfortable bed & pillows. Also loved the styling in the room - gorgeous wood floors with inset tiles, beautiful bathroom and outdoor seating with view of Mt. Etna - very chic. We dined at the Bistrot and the setting was stunning, the food delicious. Service was warm and attentive, both upon arrival at the hotel and at the restaurant. The restaurant felt very private and cosy only to discover after dinner that we were right in the middle of the Taromina action. Highly recommend!
