04/01/2026: This place is a must-visit for my husband and I when we visit the Langhe. For years, we've been returning here every time we have the chance, with great pleasure. The food is delicious, and the owners are so kind. I recommend the six mini tartares, but the entire menu is truly delicious and offers a selection of typical local dishes. 07/12/2025: We visited this truly welcoming restaurant, with a warm atmosphere. The food was top-quality and the prices were absolutely affordable. We loved the service, preparation, and attention to detail: nothing to complain about. The only negative: when paying, they told us that "separate bills" are not allowed, so they didn't allow us to each pay our own share. According to the information I've verified, although there's no law explicitly stating that restaurateurs must accept separate bills, most legal interpretations consider that each customer, when ordering, enters into their own "contract" for the dishes they consume. In essence: if no clause was explicitly stated at the outset (menu, reservation, etc.), the customer has the right to ask for the bill "for themselves." Therefore, while the restaurant was delightful and I recommend it for the quality of the food and the ambience, I feel compelled to point out that, in my opinion, they were wrong to deny split payment.
