First visit to R Mazelao – and premiere of panigacci! We chose the classic menu which offered a nice selection of cold cuts and cheeses, served with freshly baked panigacci that were crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. The evening ended in the best way with panigacci and Nutella – simple but incredibly delicious. Cozy environment, fast service and a really good introduction to this Ligurian specialty. Highly recommended!

The panigacci are very good; perhaps a little crispier would be better. The only problem is that depending on the time of day, you might find a man walking by and selling you roses.

Unmistakable!! We found a table even though we called at the last minute. The panigacci and cured meats are always good and fresh. The Black Forest ham is a must-try! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful! They try not to keep customers waiting too long. The restaurant is centrally located, two minutes from the Civic Theater. We returned in July 2025 and everything was delicious as always!! We'll be back again tonight!!
