I'd saved the location as a must-visit after reading an article about Gennaro Pernice being a taste ambassador for Zagarolo. I took advantage of a classical music concert in Monte Compatri and brought my parents there. I booked and they immediately addressed me informally, which was fine by me, but I found it a bit cheeky for the reception staff to address two octogenarians upon arrival. We entered a rather noisy and OTT room, but de gustibus, it was fine. The girl pointed out the QR code on a jar. I asked if they had a paper menu for my parents, who aren't exactly digitally savvy. The girl very kindly informed us that the head waiter would come and list the dishes. Without much enthusiasm, the head waiter began the list, but there were many dishes, all a bit unusual. My elderly parents are also a bit deaf, and in a noisy (too) noisy room, they couldn't understand much. Since I've managed to access the menu, the head waiter delegates the menu explanation to me.
It's really complicated, so we opt for pizzas. My parents order two Margheritas, my dad a pork tenderloin with apple puree, and my mom just grilled vegetables. I order a mixed house antipasto and a Fiordalì pizza. The antipasto, which was supposed to come with the pizzas, arrives immediately, but the Margheritas don't show up for over an hour. We eat the antipasto. Meanwhile, they apologize because everyone is ordering pizzas and the pizza chef can't make it... the two Margheritas arrive; at this point, I was hoping for mine too. No, that arrives with the rest. The pork tenderloin arrives, then my pizza a little later, and finally the grilled vegetables... amen!
The pizzas are good, but a little charred underneath... the pork tenderloin was stringy and dry, at least the piece I tried. Grilled vegetables with very fragrant peppers, but the eggplant was charred on the side you can't see...
I'll save the pizza, but it's probably best to avoid it on a Saturday night.
P.S. It would have been nice to print out a paper copy of the menu on the spot. You must have a printer in all that pomp, right?!
Next time I'll print it out first and bring it with me. Oh no, there won't be a next time.

The atmosphere is really warm and welcoming. Excellent for an aperitif. The price is in line with what we ate. The staff is very friendly.

The pizza is Neapolitan in style, but light and incredibly tasty. The fried foods are also very good, as are the desserts. The place is quite elegant and welcoming, with friendly and helpful staff.
Only one note: the prices are a bit high. There were four of us and we spent €34 each for supplì, beer, pizza, and dessert. Overall, a great experience!
We'll definitely be back for dinner, perhaps trying something other than pizza.

I visited this restaurant for a wine tasting evening paired with a gourmet dinner.
Arriving from abroad, you can't even imagine what awaits you inside: a high-quality, refined, and elegant venue...truly splendid.
The evening was fantastic, with superior wines and an exquisite dinner, both for the quality of the dishes and their presentation.
Truly a wonderful discovery.

excellent food, but unfortunately on 09/21/25 they had problems with the service, they charged me for things I didn't ask for (not much, 5 euros error) and it took them 1 hour to prepare the pizza, unfortunately it must have been the wrong evening, but excellent food

I had a wine tasting there and it was very nicely structured. Matteo and Daniele did a great job describing the wines and making people at ease. After the tasting I moved to another table with friends to order food and the waiter forgot some things because he was too busy with other customers.
