Mavi’s In Gallipoli

I give Mavi's a full five stars, a place I truly consider a guarantee. It's a restaurant, pizzeria, and, in a way, a bar, located right at the entrance to Gallipoli, conveniently located and easy to reach. The main reason it deserves all its stars is undoubtedly the service. I especially want to thank Vittorio, with whom I speak often: he's always friendly, attentive, and ready to welcome guests in the best possible way. You can tell he cares, because he pays attention to every need and makes them feel truly at ease. Thanks also to Claudio, the owner, a friendly, honest, and always available person. We see each other almost once a week, and every time he manages to make the experience pleasant and familiar. The food is truly excellent, from the burgers, which are my favorite, to the meats, always good quality and well-cooked. I often order the farmer's burger, but with one small change: instead of zucchini, I ask for caramelized onions along with eggplant cream. The burger is 200 grams, very tasty, with a soft, delicious bun. I usually accompany it with onion rings and fries, a perfect pairing. The restaurant occasionally hosts small parties or themed evenings, designed to accommodate more people and create a livelier yet still relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The atmosphere is pleasant, without crowds, but with just the right energy for a different kind of evening. Finally, I must say that the quality-price ratio is truly fair, especially considering we're in Gallipoli, where prices are often higher. Here, however, you eat well, you spend the right amount, and you're treated with courtesy. In conclusion, I highly recommend Mavis: a welcoming place, with excellent food, impeccable service, and passionate staff. I go there almost once a week... and I recommend you do the same!

We had pizza and burgers! The food tasted great and the portions were very generous. The service was very fast and courteous. We'd be happy to come back again.

Even though the room was full, we waited just the normal 40 minutes.

A fantastic restaurant, very tasty and hospitable; our waitress even spoke excellent German. We went with the recommendation; we could choose our own cut of beef (similar to a T-bone in Germany), and it came with three side dishes of our choice, and the price was perfectly reasonable. It was a wonderful evening! Thank you.

We were there last week. Everything was very good, we wanted to try a little bit of everything. The Margherita pizza was very good, along with the chicken strips, grilled meat, and hamburger. Everything was truly excellent. Spumone and coffee + drinks. The price was normal at €75. We were, however, disappointed by the price of the coffee, which was €2. Excellent service.

We've been coming to you for vacation for two years now, and we always find the same warm welcome...delicious pizza, and many other treats. Beautiful place, young staff. See you soon.

Everything was fine. I'm not giving the service 5 stars because I think the 5th is missing due to the time of year I was there, August 19th, which was packed. All in all, it's fair enough. I could have given it 5 stars, but I won't because everything can be improved. In any case, I recommend it.
