Mauritozzo In Roma

I discovered it by chance while walking through the Pigneto pedestrian area and was drawn to the maritozzi. Truly delicious! The staff is very kind and helpful, and they even let me try their tiramisu, which is truly excellent. Now, whenever I pass by, I'm almost obligated to stop and get something... Update after about a year: The name suggests the maritozzo, which is good, but the real highlight is the tiramisu. One of the best tiramisu's you can eat in Rome, and one I've ever had in general. I highly recommend it!

The place is beautiful, very clean, and meticulously maintained. The products are all top-quality: the tiramisu is truly delicious, but the strawberries with cream are exceptional! Not to mention the maritozzi... simply divine. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff. At 12:30 we rented a car to get here and try the maritozzo, which was absolutely worth it. The pangocciolo was also good.

The hidden star of the neighborhood. A small shop that opens in the afternoon and offers sweets such as, Maritozzo, Tiramisu and a sweet bread with or without Nutella. It also has small pizzas (pizzettes). Everything was delicious and fresh!

A truly special place to enjoy the authentic Roman maritozzo and many other delicious desserts. I recommend it 😋
