I LOVE this bar. Delicious artisanal desserts, a comfortable atmosphere, and a strategic location. Drinking in the well-maintained and relaxed outdoor area allows you to enjoy the view of Palermo's Art Nouveau architecture, so unique today.

It's a small café where I often stop for coffee and breakfast with friends. As soon as you enter, you're greeted with a smile and a "good morning" in an immediately friendly atmosphere. After a quick glance at the two windows, you begin to wonder what to order. "Lots of choice," they'd say in Milan. Various types of croissants, brioches, small and large donuts, and a wide variety of delicacies with top-quality ingredients make choosing at times difficult, as you might want to try everything. Along with excellent coffee or cappuccino, with or without a heart, breakfast has a whole new flavor. Even at lunch, the café offers numerous dishes and takeaway items to make your break a tasty and enjoyable experience, as well as the option of cookies, mousses, cakes, and more, all homemade. Added to all this is a significant vegan section. Finally, I think the cheerfulness, conversation, and kindness of the staff are the real added value of this place. Well done, keep it up!

Last Monday, I finally went to Palermo and was able to taste several "pieces" of Sicilian rotisserie at this bar I've been following on Instagram! After 12 years of being vegan, eating vegan rotisserie took me back to my childhood!!! The same flavors! It's truly incredible!!! Even my husband said that not only do they taste the same...but they're even better!!! The guy who served us (I think his name was Alessandro...I don't want to be wrong) was really helpful, kind, and smiling...oh, of course I also tried the vegan desserts...spectacular!!! I strongly suggest you guys consider shipping because you'll have loads of requests...guaranteed!!!

The staff is always extremely kind and ready to answer any questions, contributing to the very relaxing atmosphere. Their vegan and gluten-free food is delicious and reasonably priced, unique in Palermo; even many non-vegans have been absolutely won over. Highly recommended!

A truly wonderful discovery. A simple place, but one that offers a wide range of vegan products. The mousse by the glass is especially delicious. The pastries and deli food are truly high-quality, and you can also order takeaway. The creamy cappuccino with a wide variety of milks is simply breathtaking. Well done, and sorry for the delay in picking up your order. 😉

I'd always followed them on social media but hadn't had the chance to go. Today, my daughter and I decided to go and see if the beautiful pictures I'd seen on their pages matched the quality of their products. I can only tell you that the reality exceeded all expectations!!! Delicious vegan deli food, excellent quality. The desserts (I had a paper bag with vegan ricotta) are out of this world. Last but not least, the price is more than fair.

I've been wanting to try the famous vegan deli at this lovely place for a while, but I've never found the time to stop by. I had high expectations, and I have to say that the reality not only met them, but exceeded them! A whole counter of completely vegan deli food, a wide variety, huge Palermo-style portions, but above all... DELICIOUS! Add to this the kind and professional staff, the tidy place, and outdoor seating, and I'd say I'll be back often, especially since I haven't tried the desserts yet. 😊

I have breakfast here whenever I can. Even though I live far away. The vegan options are a joy to the palate and the eyes... fantastic! The staff are so kind.

Matteotti's Caffè is my favorite place in Palermo. It offers a huge selection of vegan Palermo delicacies and desserts: their display is always a surprise, and I'm always eager to try their newest creations. Vegans and non-vegans alike, you absolutely MUST stop by MATTEOTTI'S in Palermo! It's a small place, but that, combined with the incredibly kind staff, makes it a true comfort spot.

Excellent bar, delicious homemade vegan options (both sweet and savory), and very friendly staff, always available to explain how the food is prepared. We return every time we're in the area. Highly recommended for anyone who just wants to try excellent vegan food.
