Here in Testaccio, at Mattarello, I was a guest together with my family of our friends from Rome who brought us here to eat typical Roman dishes. I ate a phenomenal Giugia artichoke and some truly sublime local vegetables. Then we moved on to the first courses, the Carbonara... a masterpiece, made with tonnarelli... a sublime fresh homemade pasta. The best carbonara I've eaten in my life. The service and the environment are excellent... it's like being at home. Highly recommended

Menù ricco, prezzi convenienti e piatti molto buoni, soprattutto i primi piatti. Inoltre servizio veloce. lo consiglio fortemente ai turisti.

Quando vuoi 'la fettuccina' non la trovi ovunque. Poi le puntarelle, le ciambelline vol vino e tutti i piatti (e l'atmosfera) della cucina romana nel quartiere Romano per eccellenza. Mattarello a Testaccio non delude mai, da soli o in compagnia.
