I am now an almost regular customer and I have no particular observations to make about the food and the service, which is always quite efficient, but yesterday evening for the first time I would like to point out that for a good hour and a half I was disturbed by a strong smell of vinegar which probably it is used to clean tables. I would strongly suggest, if the tables need to be cleaned at the moment, to use other disinfectants, because last night it was really annoying. Thank you

Every now and then I come to visit you and I'm really happy to see that you are always evolving for the better! Today I took the amatriciana mezzemaniche, despite being a rich portion I finished it with the shoe... The service is perfect! Kind, prepared, helpful and also nice. Thank you!! See you soon 🫶

We went there several times especially for lunch. Correct prices and real Roman cuisine. I recommend it for both first and second courses and side dishes.

Quando vuoi 'la fettuccina' non la trovi ovunque. Poi le puntarelle, le ciambelline vol vino e tutti i piatti (e l'atmosfera) della cucina romana nel quartiere Romano per eccellenza. Mattarello a Testaccio non delude mai, da soli o in compagnia.

Locale ampio e comodo; servizio garbato e veloce; cibo buono, con fritture leggere e croccanti e pasta artigianale e saporita. Torneremo ancora!

15/01/2025: Update August 2024. My partner, I and our Weimaraner really wanted to eat here at "La Grotta Tartufi" because we like it. Here the quality of the raw materials is excellent. The guys are very kind and the customer perceives that they do their job with passion. We had bresaola with truffled mustard and buffalo mozzarella. Mouth-watering. The fettuccine is homemade, the meat and truffles are excellent. Congratulations to the chef and the whole team for welcoming us even though we had no reservation. Even our Weimaraner thanks :). We'll be back soon! Hi guys, thanks for these delicacies!

10/10/2024: Dopo aver girato nell’outlet e nella confusione abbiamo apprezzato la nostra cenetta in tranquillità. Buoni gli antipasti e il risotto alla crema di scampi, ci è piaciuto meno il sautè di cozze, non freschissime. Personale giovane e attento.
