As a tourist I highly recommend it. It is unfrequented by many Romans which is an indication of quality and historicity. It's not just any place. Top and discreet service with very relevant suggestions

Good food—portions are relatively on the smaller and slightly more expensive side but taste great overall. Staff is quite friendly and helpful. The terrace is very nice.

Very popular and excellent restaurant. We were here for lunch and dinner. It is a short walk from the Spanish Steps, in a small side street, so there were not many tourists. The food, wine and desserts were really excellent.

Located in a good location, we ate pasta with artichokes and pasta all'amatriciana. Both very good. Fast service, slightly confusing as there are so many people.

We first dined here in 2010 and it was great to be back. The food and service excellent and their wine list is out of this world. They are also pet friendly, which is great for tourists like us traveling with their dog.

In 20 anni che frequento anche se saltuariamente questo locale nel pieno centro di Roma mai una sbavatura. Accogliente, in posizione ottima per essere vicino a tutte le attività del centro con piatti assolutamente fedeli a la.tradizione e di buona qualità. Il carciofo, le bucce di patate e le alici con la regina della tavola il bucatini alla amatriciana.....difficili mangiarlo così altrove. Quest'anno il tutto esaltato da un ottimo servizio di cui protagonista indiscussa è Antonella siciliana di origine e romana d'adozione, simpatica affabile email invadente! Complimenti e avanti tutta! L'amico che condivide! Alla.prossima

Bella la storia. Carina la location. Personale crudo ma sincero, rapido ed efficace. Menù lungo con tutta la tradizione possibile. Tavoli abbastanza vicini per cene intime o di lavoro ma basta abbassare la voce. Cibo curato, misure essenziali, impiattamento come serve. Ho mangiato molto bene il carciofo e la gricia: ormai la cucina romana la misuro così. Torno e consiglio.

06/04/2025: The Popi Popi impressed us the least. The food is of course okay, but not prepared con amore enough. There wasn't enough for us to get excited.

13/02/2025: Optimal. We went there for dinner with "old" friends. Small place (in my opinion you need to book), but well organised. Sympathy and promptness on the part of the girl who served us. Really good home cooking, cooked and seasoned like at home.....from the classic appetizer, to the first courses and the meat! Keep going
