Matanzenu, a place almost unique in its style. We can find typical dishes unique in their preparation. Fast service, welcoming, down-to-earth like the owner, to spend an evening to have confirmation.

Dinner on a Saturday evening in July. A welcoming atmosphere with spacious vaulted spaces typical of Salento and tastefully furnished. Professional and courteous staff. A smile is always present. Service is prompt. Menu: excellent fried appetizers; meter-long pizza with authentic and tasty ingredients, with a wide selection of pairings; roast meats, excellent. What more can I say? A highly recommended experience, followed by a stroll through an enchanting village.

In a quiet corner of the historic center of Campi Salentina. We enjoyed a typical appetizer and a good pizza by the meter. Friendly staff and reasonable waiting times.

Sono stato qui a cena, con un collega, durante tutti i giorni della Fiera del libro. Il locale è caratteristico e il personale molto accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Il menù vario e buono, consiglio soprattutto la grigliata mista di carne, ne sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito. Da ritornarci sicuramente.

Locale molto caratteristico ricavato in un vecchio magazzino, personale molto disponibile e cordiale, piatti buoni. Unico appunto gli arancini che erano freddi all'interno. Tuttavia il proprietario, appena fatto notare, si è offerto gentilmente di rifarli

15/07/2025: The pizza is legit very very good. tasting menu with a large group was a bit chaotic and disorganized, but the owner of the restaurant made sure to make sure we were more than covered
