If you want to eat well, courtesy, joy and typicality this is the right place. Nowadays on holiday in Salento it is always a fixed stop. In a typical environment of Salento at the beginning of the century, in an old factory from the last century they have recreated places and flavors that take the palate back to times long gone. Excellent meatballs, mussels au gratin, fish and meat dishes cooked divinely and then you can also savor a fabulous pizza by the shovel. Congratulations to the owner Ciro and all his collaborators. Exceptional service and courtesy, the food is good but the quantity is decidedly low for the cost. The sautéed mussels was poor, the mussels were dried up. To complete the work, a decidedly poor quality sorbet. Nice environment, but given the heat of the summer some nebulizers would give more relief to the diners. Give a little more effort and you can improve.

Great spot with incredible food! They accommodated our big group without reservations for an early dinner seating. The food was beyond - some standouts were the fresh homemade pastas with rich tomato sauce and each pizza was so flavorful and perfectly baked, no soggy center, perfect all around. The fritto mista had a light, non greasy batter. And the chicken was another stand out - I could go on. Wonderful service even when our little ones broke a glass. Perfectly pleasant and personable the whole time. Highly recommend! Worth the drive from afar or if you’re in Campi Salentina for a visit.

Matanzenu is always a pleasant confirmation! Crispy pizzas by the meter with excellent quality ingredients and for all tastes. Tonight a delicious novelty... crostini with confit cherry tomatoes, stracciatella and figs. Equally good are the crostini with mashed broad beans and fried cornetti peppers...Salento on the plate! The now consolidated availability, professionalism and friendliness of the owner Ciro and the guys who work with him make the evening even more familiar. We concluded with a dessert that I highly recommend, puff pastry with cream ice cream and berries, a real pleasure! Finally, the summer location, always very well looked after, was made even more fairytale-like by a roof of umbrellas and fairy lights. Recommended when you want good things in a familiar and relaxing environment.

Abbiamo prenotato per 4 persone tramite app. Appena arrivati, il tavolo era pronto. Servizio veloce e qualità del cibo alta, la pizza al metro veramente top. 5 birre, 1 acqua, 1 metro di pizza, 4 coperti, 64€! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!
