We have just dined at MastroGiorgio and found a really welcoming restaurant with kind staff and lovely hearty, authentic food. Give the restaurant a visit if in town.

I was in Avellino, when it was time for lunch I started browsing online. The reviews made me curious and I decided to go and try it. As soon as you enter you are welcomed into a nice place, new, clean and tastefully furnished. The food is quality and cooked with professionalism. I liked it a lot. I will go back again.

Gastronomia carina con tavoli vicina al castello e al conservatorio, ambiente giovanile. Esperienza molto positiva, in due abbiamo scelto parmigiana di melanzane, baccalà al pomodoro e scarole con olive e capperi. Birra e ottimo pane della casa, il tutto con un costo di 29,50 euro.

Excellent food quality and very enthusiastic service. I have now been a regular customer for 2 years. Every time I enter I am immediately struck by the welcome and the speed of the service. Staff always available for everything. Definitely recommended!

04/11/2025: Gorgeous place, fabulous food paired with exceptional wine. Unique and tasty appetizers. The first courses were delicious. The meat was a spectacle. Fast and attentive service. Fair prices. The owners and waiters are friendly and very approachable. I felt right at home.

17/11/2025: The food is reasonably priced and of good quality. Although the restaurant is quite large, the tables are too close together, so you're constantly bumped into by passing customers. I think it's best to avoid Saturdays, as it tends to be very crowded. Despite having made a reservation, we had to wait about a quarter of an hour for a table. Despite the restaurant being very crowded, the service was overall quick, and the wait staff were very polite.
