There was a huge line, but it was worth it. I had a buttery pasta that melted in your mouth, and the panzerotti were delicious, especially the assassina version. Last but not least, Ciccio was so friendly, asking every customer's opinions.

Good experience here!
The line was predictable, but it moved fairly quickly. I enjoyed the fried panzerotto and the meatballs. I recommend it.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. The line stretched out beyond the restaurant, but cleared within 8-10 minutes. It went really smoothly. The wait for our order was another 20 minutes, but it was worth it. The octopus wasn't rubbery at all. Delicious, we didn't expect such flavors.

This is a spot you should not miss if you’re hungry, in Bari and want to eat delicious food! We had the tomato focaccia, the sandwich with the octopus (i guess that’s the famous puccia and the salad with the octopus. All were incredibly delicious and I would recommend this place with two hands! You can sit inside and outside.

Mastro Ciccio is a must-stop in Bari for fans of high-quality street food. We tried three different sandwiches, and they were all truly delicious!
The one with octopus and burrata made the biggest impression—soft, tender octopus, not rubbery at all, paired perfectly with the creamy burrata. The second sandwich, also with octopus, this time sliced—was equally delicious, with an interesting texture and well-chosen toppings. The third option, with Parma ham, was also on par—flavorful, classic, and very filling.
The excellent quality of ingredients, fast service, and a pleasant atmosphere make this place definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it!
