Let's leave Massimago now. Camomilla room clean and extremely minimal. Let's say that from a suite I expect to find something in the minibar. The property is looked after and kept very well. The reception is open until 7pm, so if you arrive later you will only receive information on the location of the room. Both sweet and savory breakfast. Quality products. But even there, little attention is paid to the guest knowing what to do. The girl who prepares breakfast is very kind. It should be rewarded.
Sonja is also nice.
The winemaker's march was nice even if not well signposted.
Definitely something to improve, but the place chosen is still worth it!
We bought some wines... We are waiting for the tasting

The Valpolicella wine region, known for Amarone and Ripasso, is also home to other delicious wines that don't get as much press as their famous cousins, but deserve to (like Garganega)! On a recent visit, we stayed at Massimago, a beautiful winery surrounded by hills covered with vines and olive trees. Rooms are comfortable with a lovely outlook over the hills and staff are friendly are helpful. They're a young team led by Camilla Rossi Chauvenet who is focused on lifting Valpolicella into the 21st century with lighter styles and quirky labels. They produce 85% of the ingredients for their menus in their own organic garden, making breakfast extra delicious. A guided wine tasting in their atmospheric cellar is a great way to learn more about the iconic wines of this famous region. If you’re a fan of natural wines, be sure to try the pet-nat Zurlie.

Staying at Massimago Wine Relais was a unique and memorable experience. There are no words to describe the feeling of contemplating the sunset over the hills covered in vineyards and olive trees. The view is simply stunning and creates a magical atmosphere, ideal for those who want to reconnect with nature.
The hotel itself is charming. Cozy and well-kept accommodation, with decor that combines rustic with modern. The reception was extremely attentive and warm, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. Hearty and delicious, already portioned for each room, with fresh, high-quality products, all prepared with typical foods from the region.
The comfort continues in the bedrooms, with a wonderful bed, which guarantees a refreshing night's sleep. The bathroom is renovated and offers a hot and relaxing shower, perfect for resting after a day of sightseeing.
Plus, as an added bonus, the hotel offers the opportunity to tour the local winery, providing a complete immersion in the culture and tradition of Valpolicella.
Without a doubt, an experience worth living and one that will be remembered!

My partner and I spent a week in this beautiful place
We chose to do the tasting, use the Spa, dinner and overnight stay.
The tasting was very nice and the wines were excellent.
Exclusive spa just for us, with fruit and dried fruit herbal teas, if we wanted we could also order wine.
In the afternoon, given the rain, we went for a walk in Verona. Too bad the weather otherwise we would have gone on the winemaker's outing.
In the evening the dinner was excellent, very good wine
We slept in one of the new rooms, very clean and the view was very relaxing.
Finally, breakfast was presented in an impeccable and original way
We will be back in the spring
Congratulations for the kindness of all the staff.

Our visit to Massimago Winery was nothing short of exceptional. We were hosted for a tasting by Sonia, who was not only knowledgeable but also warm, personable, and funny. She took her time explaining the winery's history and guiding us through the tasting experience, which made it all the more memorable.
The tasting itself was incredible, taking place in a beautiful cellar surrounded by barrels of wine. The ambiance felt intimate, like being in your own personal wine cellar. It was the perfect setting to enjoy such fantastic wines.
Speaking of wines, the Amarone was a standout—absolutely delicious. If you’re looking to explore a great winery outside of the Valpolicella Classico area, I highly recommend Massimago. It's a must-visit for wine lovers!

Hen party with friends, impeccable organization and service, excellent 100% organic wines. We had the opportunity to have a tasting described by Federico (well done!!) and we were followed by Lisa, a splendidly kind girl. The location takes your breath away... We didn't have the opportunity to try the rooms and the breakfast service. But the dinner was exquisite, and here too the service was flawless. Thanks Massimago! We will definitely be back

We stayed at Corte Massimago, 700m from the relais. Beautiful and VERY clean, fresh and newly renovated room. Food (dinner), amazing. Not so wide selection for breakfast but still stadisfying. Wine tasting was too expensive for the experience... If your staying here, considering buying glasses of wine while eating dinner instead 😊
