Masseria Salamina In Fasano

We dined in this beautiful location, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail, with kind and welcoming staff. The only downside was the food, which was neither excellent nor laudable. We expected much more, especially considering the prices, but it disappointed us—a great shame.

We went to the restaurant of Masseria Salamina. Fantastic location, breathtaking. Very good food with delicious raw materials. We wanted to order the whole menu. Very kind and friendly staff. Recommended.

We got married at Masseria Salamina and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. From Friday to Monday, the food was consistently exceptional, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating, and the whole setting was breathtaking. The wines they made were a real highlight, all our group were also thrilled at having beautiful Lilli, the resident dog around. Every request was met with a smile, and nothing ever felt too much trouble. Thank you for helping create such an unforgettable weekend — we can’t wait to return someday!

Given that the evaluation refers only to the restaurant. Beautiful and elegant location, modern restaurant, interesting description of the menu but expectations were disappointed: nothing to exalt, rather platter with only 1 type of cheese and only 1 type of sauce, the octopus was also beautiful to look at but less so to taste (hard and on tasteless broad bean cream, same bread of only 1 type/roll and a little "hard", well cooked pasta but without "character"), the dessert was disappointing (cold ricotta bar and dry). Maybe it was the expectation but there are many places where the food honors the place which however is and remains very beautiful. The other guests were foreigners anyway, so I conclude that perhaps ch2 is a location more for weddings or foreign customers and less for Italians accustomed to high-quality food. Friendly staff
