We stayed for one night in this beautiful Masseria, and what can I say? Everything was impeccable, from the service to the attention to detail. The fireplaces adorning every single room are stunning. The welcome was warm and attentive. I felt pampered from the moment I stepped inside. The food was top-notch, and the breakfast was magnificent, plentiful with both sweet and savory options. In short, an unforgettable stay. Last but not least, the splendid two-hour spa immerses you in a magical world of pampering and relaxation. My rating is 5 stars for everything. An experience worth repeating to fully enjoy the property's many amenities!

Loved our stay here! The staff truly made it special — Fabio, Pasquale, Ishmael at dinner, the ladies at breakfast, and Sara and Francesca at check-in were all wonderful. The food was incredible from start to finish: a generous breakfast spread each morning with excellent coffee, fresh juices, homemade cakes, cookies, and jams that changed daily, and a hot savory option each day. Dinners on the terrace were magical — a smaller menu but exceptionally high quality with their homemade bread and olive oil — and the weekly pizza night was honestly the best pizza we had on our entire trip. The property itself is expansive, rustic, and beautiful with two pools, (we wish it had been warm enough outside to use them!), a spa, bikes to ride around, and even an outdoor cinema. The atmosphere was relaxed but elegant, with music and delicious drinks at the bar each night, served with homemade taralli and other snacks. Also really appreciated their sustainability efforts — salvaged and restored furniture, homegrown vegetables, and the care that clearly goes into everything. The owner, Angelo, and his adorable dog added a personal, welcoming touch. Our room was spotless and well-stocked; we had a small issue with our original room and they very kindly upgraded us to suite in another building for the four nights of our stay. All in all, a really wonderful stay — warm, genuine hospitality and a place we’d return to.

The property is nestled in a large, well-maintained green area composed of several finely renovated buildings, preserving the original character of the place. The staff is all qualified, professional, and attentive to the needs of the guests. The tranquility and silence are the strengths of the place. I recommend leaving your watch and cell phones outside to fully enjoy the moments of relaxation that await you. The staff pampered us throughout, from our arrival through the spa experience and aperitif cocktail, not to mention the dinner that concluded a wonderful evening. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. If you want to unplug from a life that has become too fast, Masseria Palombara is the right place.

We felt completely at home at Masseria Palombara — it was a true reprieve, and we felt deeply cared for even though there was a little difficulty during check in. Everything was smoothed out in a short amount of time. The grounds are stunning and have a magical, peaceful quality that immediately puts you at ease. Our cooking class was a highlight — we learned to make orecchiette, a local eggplant dish, and tiramisu, and even made new friends along the way. Chef Fouzia and her wonderful assistant Mesi were so warm, patient, and engaging. Francesca, the manager, was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. The entire staff went above and beyond — Ishmael was always smiling and ready with excellent local recommendations, and Pasquale made the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. The hammam felt otherworldly, and our massages left us feeling renewed and deeply relaxed. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and can’t recommend this place enough — truly a 10/10 experience in every way.

I had an amazing stay at Massera Palombara. It was a truly high end and personalized experience. The atmosphere was serene and relaxing, the perfect setting to disconnect and enjoy. Francesca was absolutely lovely, attentive and warm, making everything feel effortless and tailored. The dinner staff, especially Fabio, went above and beyond. His service and attention to detail made every meal exceptional. Everything from the ambiance to the hospitality was outstanding. I recommend Massera Palombara for anyone looking for the best welcoming retreat.

We had the pleasure of staying at this splendid Masseria in Oria, near Manduria, at the end of September. At Masseria Palombara, you'll find relaxation and high-end comfort, all the amenities of a resort and more, but above all, the welcome of a home. The renovation has enhanced every space and everyday object, which you'll find in every corner, immersing you in a bygone yet authentic time. The atmosphere is Fellini-esque...that of the Dolce Vita of the 1950s and 1960s, and so is the background music. The furnishings are tasteful, with original period pieces and some cleverly combined designer pieces; every object has found its place in the Masseria. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with Patio, which was very spacious and equipped with every comfort, including a coffee machine and free minibar. Every request was fulfilled. The catering is top-notch, using home-grown and local products (the almond ice cream is exceptional), and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The gentle Blu and the tenacious Pato are adorable, the true hosts. Breakfast also tastes like home: served at the table with three savory dishes that change daily, as well as biscuits and cakes, yogurt, jam, and fruit. We enjoyed it very much. If I really had to point out something, perhaps the prices of some "humble" dishes (for example, orecchiette with tomato sauce at €26.00) are a bit excessive, but the property is truly worth it, and the price of the stay is excellent value. The sea is less than 30 minutes away, at least in September. Thank you and see you soon!

An extraordinary stay! Masseria d'Angelo is splendid, full of charm and a much-appreciated tranquility. The rooms and common areas (pools, spa, gym, etc.) are all of a very high standard. The restaurant is also worth a visit. Finally, the staff is very attentive and bends over backwards to ensure you have an extraordinary, timeless experience. A must-do!

Not sure where to start, we've had an amazing stay at the Masseria. This was our second time but no doubt will not be the last time. The Masseria itself, the staff are both amazing and very thoughtfull. We've got engaged during our stay and besides it already being a special week they went the extra mile to make it even better. The Masseria itslf has everything you need but there are also a lot of towns close by for day trips and all very easy accessable per car. We're already looking forward to coming back. Thanks!
