What can I say, I had the pleasure and I say it with great satisfaction, of having celebrated the day of my son's Holy Confirmation. We had never been there but we had heard about it, and very good ones too, I can only confirm all of this. Very beautiful and suggestive structure, it really makes you travel through time. Spectacular cuisine, excellent service, all accompanied by a precise and attentive staff, available and courteous. They really satisfied us in everything. And then there is Andrea the owner, a truly professional and reassuring figure. Masseria del Sale...I recommend it...for those looking for a culinary journey in an environment full of beauty and refinement.

A beautiful experience, a wonderful place between nature and good food

An amazing and quiet place. The atmosphere is very nice and pleasant. Good food to try and taste. Top service to enjoy and be in the right hands.

Splendid location for lunches, dinners and aperitifs. Immersed in the Apulian countryside, their staff made us feel at home. The food, very good! Especially if you suffer from food intolerances, they have a wide variety of excellent quality alternative dishes. The service is really kind and attentive, always smiling! I absolutely recommend it!

A dream of a masseria, good food, including vegetarian options, and top wines. The starry vault in the restaurant is beautiful. The food is very traditional Pugliese. We even went there with our two big dogs.

If you are looking for authenticity and quality you will have to pay a visit to Masseria del Sale in Manduria. The Apulian tradition is at home here and it is the ideal place to immerse yourself in the typical and genuine flavors of Salento. We were welcomed by the staff who proved to be very professional and capable as well as friendly and attentive. The farm was taken care of in every detail and the atmosphere immediately won us over, especially the surrounding greenery and nature. The menu offered, on the occasion of a baptism, was a riot of strictly fresh local products: the accuracy of the dishes denoting the mastery of the chef and the kitchen staff. A gourmet menu with all the flavors of Salento and revisited with delicacy and creativity. The dishes were accompanied by wines that enhanced their taste. A note of thanks to Ketty, Marco and Mattia. The only discordant note was the lot of comings and goings from the door leading to the toilet and the courtyard which was promptly closed after having brought it to the attention of the owner. It is suggested to place a curtain on the glass door (near the bathroom door) as the beating sun made lunch uncomfortable for the diners sitting on that side.

On Saturday 1 March at lunchtime, a colleague of mine and I decide to have lunch at the "Masseria del Sale" farmhouse restaurant in Manduria, a place that promises a high-level culinary experience in a rustic and evocative atmosphere. The part relating to the restaurant is well renovated, with star vaults and the presence of fireplaces. Tables and chairs have small deficiencies (some dirty seats); unkept parking; large table in a nave with kitchen utensils in evidence. The service is of good evidence, with attentive, courteous staff always available to satisfy every request. Let me start by saying that there were no other tables occupied and there was only one waiter serving. As for the food, the quality is unquestionable even if some dishes are better prepared than others, both in terms of flavors and presentation. I personally particularly enjoyed the artichoke appetizer. The dessert was normal and without great pretensions. However, there is one aspect that left me perplexed and which, unfortunately, clouded the overall experience: the price. The final bill was decidedly exaggerated compared to what was served. Despite the quality of the food and service, the prices are out of the market and not justified compared to the dishes. I expected a more balanced quality-price ratio, and although I understand the increase in the prices of raw materials and the maintenance of the structure, it is not possible to offer such an exaggerated final cost. This is not a starred restaurant. In conclusion, "La Masseria del Sale" offers an experience not worthy of full evaluation and the high price makes it difficult to justify a return or an unreserved recommendation. I would recommend this restaurant only to those willing to spend a lot without evaluating the quality/price ratio. Certainly there is an awareness that the perceived value is not entirely in line with the cost incurred. I highlight that my review is in line with many others. I suggest, given the potential of the structure, to reevaluate the cost or, if left unchanged, to provide an Experience worthy of what is requested. Rating: 3.5/5 (due to excessive prices and an offline experience)
