Masi Tenuta Canova In Lazise

Tenuta Masi never disappoints! A few kilometers from the center of Lazise, easily accessible by road, lies this splendid winery and restaurant nestled among olive trees and vineyards. The farmhouse, the dining rooms, the wine shop, and the outdoor tables among the olive trees are meticulously maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and the service impeccable. The menu is simple and never boring. We've stopped here numerous times and enjoyed the excellent risotto all'Amarone, the delicious antipasto of mixed fried fish, and the pike with polenta, to name just a few of the dishes. The wine selection is obviously excellent, so much so that we always take a few bottles home. It's always a treat to stop by Tenuta Masi, and it certainly won't be our last!

Perfectly combined flavors, carefully selected wines, all set against the backdrop of the setting sun over the ubiquitous vineyards. It's worth venturing a bit beyond the city's bustle and mediocre fast-food restaurants to experience the "slow food" atmosphere in a kitchen brimming with local produce and traditional recipes. On-site, you can also tour the vineyard, see the winemaking process, enjoy a wine tasting, and purchase the best wines from the winery at reasonable prices, especially considering the quality.

We've been there twice in the last month, for an aperitif and for lunch. A beautiful location surrounded by greenery, vineyards and olive trees. Excellent food. The wines are obviously superb.

If you want to enjoy good food, a lovely ambiance and excellent wine, this is the place for you.

Very clean, ambience is really great food very tasty and the matching fine wines

The food is delicious, but I wouldn't order the wine pairing again. The red wine wasn't convincing at all. And as for the service, there's still a lot of room for improvement! With each course, you get the feeling you're rushing to move on; plates are cleared even if not everyone has put their cutlery down yet. We were disappointed and definitely won't be back!
