Nice hotel, but a bit neglected. Arriving in the dark, there was no lighting in the parking lot, making it difficult to find free parking spaces. The breakfast was excellent, as was the restaurant's cuisine. The balconies near our room were all very neglected. Update as of today, November 2025: The restaurant's food has really deteriorated, subpar. Service is non-existent and sketchy. Dishes selected from the menu were served with ingredients different from what was described. Disappointing. Parking is always dark and always paid.

Nice hotel within walking distance to the city centre, located in a fairly quiet and peaceful area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We extended our stay because we felt very comfortable and the hotel staff were very accommodating on several occasions. It was clean, and yes, you can't compare it to German stars in Italy—it's a bit dated. Nevertheless, it's a very nice hotel, a beautiful complex, and a 10-15-minute walk from the center of Pisa. The pool is a great way to start a day full of activities. A big thank you goes to all the hard-working staff, who were very polite, incredibly helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. We relaxed and had a great time during our almost two-week stay. Grazie mille! ❤️

The hotel had a feeling of being a bit dated and needing some love. Our room and many parts of the hotel needed some maintenance and upkeep. The bed and sofa in the room were nice but most of the room looked untidy. The shower looked like it had a piece of the drain section missing and generally needed a deep clean. The balcony door wouldn't shut easily (slight worry from a security perspective too). The room seemed clean but the balcony area felt like it needed a deep clean and sweep, so we didn't spend any time out there. Air con only seemed to work in the entrance section of the room and not at all in the bedroom Overall, I really don't understand how the hotel is advertised as 5 star. I've only ever stayed in 4 star or lower accommodation and it felt 3 star at best. The photos of the standard of room were a lot nicer than our actual room. All staff were lovely, the hotel just feels understaffed and needing love. On a side note, slight frustration that we paid around €140 for the room 5 months in advance and we could've paid €85 for the same room the day before.

Without a doubt, a hotel that has surely seen better days. Even from the outside, the facilities look somewhat outdated. Upon entering, there's a grand reception, but from the moment you walk in, you feel that, with its 1990s-style wedding venue decor, the hotel once enjoyed its splendor. As expected from reading reviews, the rooms appear severely lacking in maintenance. Details such as the somewhat chipped walls, a broken toilet cistern, a shower tray that doesn't close properly, a key lock, and a somewhat complex way to open it (at least in our room, which was a ground-floor apartment near the pool). Breakfast was unimpressive. On the positive side, the staff is very pleasant and makes an effort to ensure your stay is pleasant. The pool, although also somewhat lacking in maintenance in the sun lounger area, is one of the hotel's best features and is appreciated on hot days. The location, while not the best, is not bad, as it's about 15 minutes from the city center.
