Fantastic, highly recommended even for celiacs

Absolutely perfect. From the decor to the flavor of the dishes. An authentic place, where the staff is warm and welcoming. The amatriciana was impeccable, the best I had on my entire trip to Italy. I can say the same about the carbonara. The tiramisu was delicious. I would go back dozens of times.

Excellent quality food, friendly staff. The typical restaurant has the flavor of simple Romanity.

Best carbonara in Rome. As for appetizers, I had the chance to try the authentic Roman ones. A delight, especially the nervetti! Recommended for a real experience in a non-touristy Roman tavern (based on the revisitation of traditional dishes).

I came here as an English speaker slightly anxious. I was immediately welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff! They have an incredible mix of classic Italian dishes as well as Rome specials I wanted to try the traditional food to Rome and I was met with a barrage of delicious food! I can’t thank the staff enough for the memorable evening.

Real village trattoria. Exceptional!!!

I'll start by saying that my rating on everything is based on my standards: the food is very good from the tavern, one of the few left that does REAL Roman cuisine, with offal and dishes that you can't find anywhere else, parts of the body of animals that you can't even find at the butcher's, the cuisine is the poor one where nothing was thrown away. Strong, particular flavors, but just ask for information to know what it is and how particular it is. Menu strictly spoken and probably changing. Beautiful and rustic environment, old-fashioned Roman trattoria on the outskirts, Peroni logo, wooden tables and chairs and plants in the garden (beautiful). Ancient trattoria, my mother used to come here as a girl, it has maintained its identity. I will DEFINITELY return and bring other friends to eat the true Roman tradition, a pearl.

Always valid, then the real embers make the difference for roasts. They could have rested their head given the acquired notoriety instead they maintain an excellent standard.
