this place must be preserved at all costs. Sure the staff behaviour and food section can be challenging to some, but if you go here you must be willing to have an authentic roman experience

Best pasta I've ever eaten, great tiramisu. Overall all the food is great, I've tried all the traditional options. The staff doesn't know a lot of english but the chef personally comes to take your order and to suggest you food. 40 euros antipasti + primi + secondi + dolce + wine and beer, would deffinetly recommend <3 Deffinetly a hidden gem, everything was absolutely great!

Absolutely perfect. From the decor to the flavor of the dishes. An authentic place, where the staff is warm and welcoming. The amatriciana was impeccable, the best I had on my entire trip to Italy. I can say the same about the carbonara. The tiramisu was delicious. I would go back dozens of times.

Best carbonara in Rome. As for appetizers, I had the chance to try the authentic Roman ones. A delight, especially the nervetti! Recommended for a real experience in a non-touristy Roman tavern (based on the revisitation of traditional dishes).

I came here as an English speaker slightly anxious. I was immediately welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff! They have an incredible mix of classic Italian dishes as well as Rome specials I wanted to try the traditional food to Rome and I was met with a barrage of delicious food! I can’t thank the staff enough for the memorable evening.

06/05/2025: Suggeritoci dal titolare del B&B Vigna dell'Agrifoglio dove soggiornavamo, abbiamo scoperto in questa Osteria tutto il meglio della vera cucina romana... Inoltre la simpatia di Paola, la titolare, e di tutto il suo staff ha reso le nostre cinque cene indimenticabili e assolutamente da ripetere. Praticamente si sta a Velletri ma si respira e si gusta... Roma! Dall'antipasto al conto tutto buonissimo e digeribilissimo. Assolutamente straconsigliato!

The owner, Paola, is friendly and welcoming, always greeting us like family members. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Velletri.

02/09/2025: Good food, family-friendly place. The owner is very friendly. The pizza is top-notch, and the recommended dishes are really good.
28/08/2025: A simple, clean restaurant in Centocelle with good, generous dishes at very reasonable prices. I tried the delicate, flavorful seafood appetizer from the buffet. I didn't like the creamy scampi risotto, but the burrata ravioli were really good. The staff is attentive and quick, even though there are many diners.
