An experience to do for those who love the traditional Roman restaurant. Cacio e pepe "only" decent (the mint recommended by the waiter gave it an original touch but it was definitely too much to cover the taste of the cheese), amatriciana normal (maybe a little too much onion!), good arrosticini. It was recommended to us as a restaurant with an amazing quality/price ratio. Long awaited for the dishes.

A classic of Roman cuisine. You can find horse meat and dishes that are difficult to eat in Rome

Very nice place where I always come back very willingly. Typical Roman dishes of good quality and abundant.

Low quality food!! The meat in Amatricciana wasn’t cooked well, I felt I was eating fat😐Tiramisu was just only cream with the really old cake part 😕 I never recommend this restaurant.
I don’t know how this restaurant have a rate of 4.2?I think the people rated, hadn’t tried the real Roman food before going to this place.

Excellent food, super friendly and nice host, small flaw on the mad thrush which unfortunately does not reflect the original recipe, for the rest everything fantastic, we will return

What can I say, from the atmosphere to the food everything was perfect. If you love the fifth quarter there is something for everyone. Everything was excellent, including the house wine. But I will never forget the grilled beef tongue, the sweetbreads and raw ham and the horse pannicolo. I will return soon!

On advice, we went on Saturday evening and the first thing to appreciate was the willingness to find us a place and the friendliness of the owner (who also explains the menu in an ironic and very nice way).
It is a traditional Roman trattoria from 50 years ago, suggestive and with its pros and cons but absolutely true.
All 5/4 is completely represented like the first Romans even those now off the menu. We had fried broccoli, roasted pork intestine (excellent, I hadn't tried it for 20 years!), rigatoni with tail, fried lamb and peppers. Prices absolutely like those of an old trattoria. We will definitely return to try other traditional dishes. Off note: the white wine in bulk... 'nse beve! We will have it in a bottle.

Read...but keep it for yourself!
Because certain things should only be shared with friends, true friends.
Real Roman cuisine. The aroma that comes out of the kitchen that makes you hungry, the generous dishes, the good ingredients. The hospitality, the friendship. It's not a place for those in a hurry, for those who eat, it's a place for those who "eat". Here the palate enjoys and to enjoy you have to be calm, inside...You don't have to have any worries...like when you make love!
How much does it cost? It depends on how much you eat and unfortunately we are no longer used to enjoying eating, at least we didn't manage to go beyond appetizer + first course but we got up with the desire to try all the other delicacies that this place offers. And that's why we will return and return and return again...I absolutely must try the grilled tongue and the horsemeat.
In the meantime, thanks for the excellent lunch!
