Martinucci In Gallipoli

I went into Martinucci to give myself a moment of relaxation before work and ordered a ginseng and a pasticciotto with pistachio and ricotta cream. I specify that I consumed at the counter and not at the table. The ginseng (1.50 euros) was of medium-good quality, nothing to complain about. The pasticciotto, however, considering the cost (2 euros), disappointed me: I was expecting something excellent, but unfortunately it wasn't up to par. Elsewhere you can find better quality at about half the price. The service, in general, was more than satisfactory, although water for coffee must be requested, as it is not served automatically. I probably won't come back for a pasticciotto here, but I repeat: my dissatisfaction only concerns the quality-price ratio of that product. For the rest, everything ok.

Trovandomi di passaggio a Gallipoli ho acquistato dei mignon, eccellenti al gusto. 4 pallini e non 5 x via dei prezzi leggermente alti (4 euro in più al Kilo rispetto al mio paese).!

Excellent, very popular place, a point of reference for ice cream.

Very tasty and very good service.

The service was not very nice, especially for customers who did not speak Italian, which made the atmosphere of the place suffer. We ate sweets, ice cream and sandwiches (I don't recommend these, they were dry and not very fresh). We waited a long time for the order. The disadvantage of this place is that you can only sit at a table if you have waiters, and if you order at the bar you have to eat and drink on the street...

We stopped to enjoy a really good cream and black cherry pasticciotto, served warm, the fragrant pastry excellent. I recommend everyone to try any product from the beautiful display in the window!

Questa mattina camminando verso la stazione ho avvistato questa grande pasticceria e sono entrato per mangiare un pasticciotto e per bere un caffè prima di prendere il treno. Ho scoperto solo più tardi che questa è soltanto una delle numerose sedi di una catena che ha vari punti vendita in tutta la Puglia. Il mio pasticciotto ricotta e pistacchio era buono e caldo anche se il ripieno era un po' liquido. Buono anche il caffè e onesti i prezzi.

Very nice chain with many tasty options for sweet and savory snacks, always open from the morning until very late in the evening (in October!) In other words: the Italian answer to a well-known worldwide coffee chain that cannot stand in the shadows of this Martinucci; many times better and tastier 😎, nice staff too
