Excellent pastry shop. The pasticciotti served hot are a marvel for the palate.
It's a shame about the service which, although professional, does not approach the customer with a smile.
The external environment should be equipped with fans, perhaps with water vapor.

The pasticiotti were excellent, it's a pity that we paid €2 for them in the morning and €1.80 in the afternoon, in both cases taken as takeaway………. Why this difference!!!!!!

Yesterday evening I entered this renowned "Caffetteria-Ice Cream-Pastry Shop", I bought about ten Pasticciotti (Apulian dessert) to take away, and a couple to eat immediately for me and my son,
Both my son and I like the classic Pastry Cream, immediately at the first bite we realize that it is not Cream but Ricotta, we point it out to the waiter, his response was...
""They were probably finished...!""
He shrugs and turns around.
I immediately pointed out to the owner that her collaborator had a very rude attitude, moreover the mistake was hers!!!
She very professionally offered me a change, I thanked her, but since their Pasticciotti are actually (All very good), I declined the offer and enjoyed the Pasticciottio.
A little more seriousness and professionalism would be needed though 😉

Very good ice cream but very rude staff. Every 5 minutes a different boy passed by telling me that I couldn't eat on the table unless I paid an extra one euro.

Having used this exercise several times during my prolonged stay in Gallipoli, I will try to provide an opinion gained after the multiple steps.
The service is average for all of Salento, that is, mediocre. Honestly, this place is no worse than many others, on this holiday I only noticed annoyed, listless, sulky staff who rarely say hello, a thank you or a goodbye, sometimes it actually seems like they are making fun of you.
After mid-August things went a little better and the last boy who served us was unusually courteous and efficient, a symptom of the fact that in these latitudes it is very difficult to manage large masses of customers like those who, in fact, , clog up Gallipoli in the summer.
I wonder how they will fare in Milan if they think of exporting these bland rhythms there... now that I have met them I was curious to go and try them in Rome because, I repeat, the quality of the product is all there.
Long story short, here you will still have the best hope of being served within 10/15 minutes, with a bit of luck and not sparing on gesticulating to attract attention. The reward will be excellently made products but it is certain that the bad mood and a certain effort in trying to get them could remain even during and after the tasting.
My experience was that going elsewhere things only got worse so I quickly adapted to local habits and customs.

The place I mean cafeteria or lets say bakery shop is good to have the breakfast .Also I would recommend it but the thing is there is always a rush so you have to wait a long line for your turn to finally pay for the ticket and can take what you want.
