Dear guests, this is a touristy place with high prices, mediocre service, and an expensive tip of around €5. The coffee and cake are okay, as is the smoothie, but nothing more. A cappuccino costs €4.50, which is more than elsewhere, simply because there are so many tourists drawn to this beautiful place.

Martinez in Como is an absolute must-visit! The location is fantastic with a beautiful view over the town square, which creates a lovely atmosphere. The food is exquisite, authentic Italian with a modern twist, and the service is top-notch – friendly and attentive. I especially recommend their fresh pasta and fish dishes. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. Remember to book a table in advance. A great experience!

27/09/2025: There were three of us and we didn't read the reviews, and that was a good thing! Apart from the higher prices, we were very satisfied! When the menu is small, you know it's fresh and homemade. The ladies, from young women to nonna, were all attentive and consistently friendly. A little chat about Lake Como and Lake Constance made up for the cold, wet weather. We'd gladly go back - Chiao Singnora's
25/09/2025: Pesche fresco d'il Lago...Fresh fish from the lake. Very friendly service, and the wine and fish, and especially the risotto with sage, were wonderful! I'd be happy to go back anytime.
