Martesana Pastry Shop In Milano

I visited Milan and there was this pastry shop across the street from my B&B. It was a wonderful discovery! I had the best vegan croissant and a delicious soy cappuccino. Bravo!

The place isn't overly large, with limited seating. A self-service service certainly eliminates the wait. But you're immediately forgiven by the truly excellent coffee and the selection of top-quality desserts. We couldn't resist the maritozzo and the special Sacher torte. True pastry professionals. Congratulations!

Incredible, everything was delicious.

- Warm and welcoming place, slightly dim lighting, tables okay. - Service was nonexistent; paying €2.40 for a croissant, I would have expected table service since almost everyone does it these days. - The coffee was good, the cream was well-made and not too foamy, the hazelnut single-serving croissant was very good, and the croissant was flavorful and flaky, but instead of pistachio paste, there was pistachio custard. Unfortunately, I can't show the receipt because when I presented it to the barista to have the coffee made, he threw it away. Coffee €1.40, pistachio croissant €2.40, and the single-serving croissant €1.40.

Pasticceria La Martesana on Via Paolo Sarpi is a guarantee of quality, offering all kinds of sweets and a delicious breakfast with fabulous croissants, plain or filled, you'll be satisfied. The Veneziana croissants, pastries, and any other sweet treat they make are also excellent.

A short coffee break with small pastries... very small pastries, lots of variety and carefully prepared. Good.
