Marmolada In Rocca pietore

The hotel is nestled between mountain peaks. The cable car station for the Marmolada is just 60 meters away. The hotel has a swimming pool. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers three meals a day, with several dishes to choose from.

Stunning view of the Marmolada, very close to the cable car. Simple hotel, friendly staff, and parking available even the next day. Breakfast and dinner buffet with a varied menu. Good value for money.

Excellent location and beautiful surroundings. The staff is absolutely great, I had no problems.. Breakfast and dinner are average, don't expect a gourmet experience, that's the only thing that disappointed me... a swimming pool with a beautiful view plus saunas...

Strategic location for reaching the entire Marmolada range, exceptional staff, starting with Sofia at the front desk and Emilio at the waiter, the manager available for any eventuality...

Considering everything, overall I give a 3 stars. The food is not bad at all as it is said in several reviews which I find really exaggerated, plus it has the advantage of being a buffet, so if you are hungry... Friendly staff. However, I don't feel like giving more than 3 stars overall, considering both the quality/price ratio and the location of the hotel, which is far from the most popular towns and where there is minimal things to do/see, like all those in the Val di Fassa, as well as from the most beautiful excursions, although in reality one of the most beautiful walks is nearby (Rifugio Padon-Rifugio Gorza), but it is the only one (in addition to obviously being able to go to the Marmolada). The location, which I personally find extremely inconvenient, is the reason why I would never choose/recommend this hotel even if it were free; obviously the situation is different for those who only intend to rest and stay in the hotel all day without moving (or in any case without traveling by car), such as elderly people, for whom it could then also be a good solution, given the still good quality/price ratio

Our stay in this hotel was excellent, it's a shame that it was only two nights. Located at the foot of the Marmolada, a few steps from the cable car. We had a great time, not well. The staff is fantastic, they are polite, kind people, attentive to everything. Our room was spacious and clean, with a stupendous view. The dinner was buffet service, all very good. With Angelo the musician we had a lot of fun, both before dinner and after dinner. Well done Angelo :) I'm It was without a doubt two magnificent days in an enchanting place. I'm sure we'll see each other again.
