Dropped off by taxi at 8pm on Saturday. Opening hours said open but the restaurant was closed. Surely it wouldn’t be too much trouble for the owner to update Google when they close early, or change their opening hours? We wanted to give it a chance even though the reviews are not good.

We only stopped for drinks and I cannot say anything about food, The service and attention was really good and in the time we went it wasn't crowded so it feels like you had the restaurant to yourself out of the crowded streets of Rome.

Small cozy corner with a small terrace very well placed next to the ruins. Romans. The dishes were good, consistent.

We had a delightful meal and experience! Bruschetta, Caprese Salad and the Cacio e Pepe were all fantastic in addition to the bottle of Soave wine we shared. Highly recommend!

È un'osteria alla buona di quelle che mi piacciono ' a conduzione familiare, un sorriso gentile, una battuta e cibo buono, di casa. Gli gnocchi erano al taglio, fatti a mano, come pure il ragù. La pasta alla carbonara ottima. Caprese fresca. I dolci buoni. Il conto giusto. Pensare di essere dietro al Foro di Augusto, in piazza del Grillo con un conto finale normale non mi è parso vero. Spero che questi due gestori non cambino mai.
