Having visited Florence several times, I can confidently say this is the best Italian restaurant in Florence. Yes! A seafood restaurant in Florence is the best restaurant in Florence! The 7-course tasting menu was an absolute masterpiece, each dish filled with flavor, expertly crafted, and showcasing the freshest seafood imaginable. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and dedication to quality, surpassing those so-called Michelin-rated restaurants. One highlight that cannot be missed is their raw seafood selection. The freshness and quality are unparalleled, offering a truly authentic taste of the sea. If you have the chance, do not pass up the opportunity to indulge in this exceptional offering. Beyond the incredible food, the service was equally outstanding. The staff were warm, welcoming, and passionate about ensuring a memorable experience. Their hospitality made the evening even more special. This place is a true hidden gem in Florence. Do yourself a favor and take a break from the bistecca. If you appreciate authentic, perfectly executed Italian seafood, this restaurant is an absolute must visit.

Artichokes and cuttlefish, kind and very good welcome. Amazing crudités, oyster, red manzancolla, sea lemon, exceptional sea urchin and scampi. Delicious crab and truffle risotto. Scampi and truffle carpaccio, you couldn't stop eating it. Cuttlefish with white wheat flour, I even mopped it up. And what about the schiacciatine di assompagnento? It's then an excellent glass of Passerina, a glass of Recioto and an unexpectedly exciting sage and lemon liqueur. And on top of all this, the courtesy of the young waitresses, very professional and kind. And the exquisite courtesy of the owner. A place from another time. I hope to return soon ❤️

Excellent fish restaurant, for us the best in Florence. Very good atmosphere, but a bit strange design. Great service and good wine. Price-performance ratio completely ok. Be sure to reserve a few days in advance.

We went to this place the other evening for a dinner for two and we were spoiled and pampered from start to finish! The host is from another era... Someone who lives for his restaurant and to please his guests. A dedication to the subject of fish on the part of him and the staff. A place that convinces you immediately at first taste. Excellent fish both cooked and raw.. Very fresh that not even by the sea.. A perfect tasting menu, not too much or too little which leaves you pleasantly satisfied from every point of view. Availability, courtesy and affection together with a good wine are a highly deserved 5 stars. Well done!

Siamo stati in questo locale l altra sera per una cenetta a due e siamo stati viziati e coccolati dall inizio alla fine! Il padrone di casa è di altri tempi.. Uno che vive per il suo ristorante e per accontentare i suoi ospiti. Una dedizione una alla materia del pesce da parte sua e del personale. Un posto che ti convince subito al primo assaggio. Pesce ottimo sia cotto che crudo.. Freschissimo che neanche in riva al mare.. Un menù degustazione perfetto, ne troppo ne poco che ti lascia piacevolmente soddisfatto sotto ogni punto di vista. Disponibilità cortesia e affetto insieme un buon vino sono 5 stelle super meritate. Bravi!

This is an excellent place for seafood lovers. The dishes were well thought out and the flavors interesting in a good way. The service was attentive and they were very patient and served an aperitif before my starter. The environment was cozy but also classy. The place was very packed and although I did not have a reservation, they made an effort to accommodate. And during my time there, people kept coming. I definitely recommend this place. Note that you will be extremely limited in your options if you are not into seafood. And it is not an overly casual place.
