We returned to Marina di Santo Spirito for a family dinner and were once again thrilled. The seafood tasting menu was simply excellent, with carefully prepared dishes of the highest quality. But what made this experience truly special was the service: the owner was exceptionally kind and attentive. Our 5-year-old daughter ate a delicious plate of spaghetti with clams, which we weren't even charged for, and at the end of the evening, he made her smile by giving her a bag full of gummy bears. As if that weren't enough, we received an additional discount and a bottle of Franciacorta as a gift for the arrival of our second child. A touching gesture that we'll never forget. We've been several times before and always had a wonderful time, but this time, Marina di Santo Spirito truly exceeded all expectations. A restaurant that combines culinary excellence and rare humanity: highly recommended!

We had a truly special and amazing meal here. A beautiful understanding of seafood and its optimal preparations. A prawns with truffle dish surprised us; the tasting menu was filled with happy surprises. Add to that a vibrant atmosphere away from the touristy parts of town and you have something really special. Big thumbs Don’t just get t bone steak in Florence. Florence is known for seafood as well! Their raw tasting menu is better than sashimi!

What more can I say... it couldn't be better!!! The tasting menu was excellent for variety, quality, and portions. The menu was just right, not a lot of choices, but varied. The calamari and artichoke entree was excellent, and the aperitif was served as soon as I told you to. Excellent wine selection. Very fresh fish. The price was right for the quality of the food. Highly recommended!!!!!!

This was one of the best meals of our Italy trip. This place books up quick so I recommend getting a reservation as soon as you can. We had a reservation for 9:30pm (or so we thought). Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner who asked if we had a reservation, when I showed him the email I thought was the confirmation he asked if I received a separate confirmation email (which I did not). When he realized this he made accomodations anyway and was able to seat us right away. When we sat down they gave us complementary white wine and let us know if we want more to just ask. The service was prompt compared to other restaurants we visited, each of the waitresses were constantly checking on multiple tables and making sure all guests were taken care of. In terms of food, we ordered the cuttlefish in black ink sauce over white corn meal, scampi saffron pasta and the lobster cooked in salt. In addition to this, to our surprise, they brought us a complimentary appetizer 1st that was cuttlefish dressed in a light olive oil, lemon sauce along with bread. Each dish we had was incredible. All the seafood was fresh and cook perfectly with great flavor. We especially loved the main lobster dish which came with two large prawns on top of it which was not mentioned on the menu at all. Once we went to pay, the woman gave us the itemized bill which was accurate and decided to take off an additional 5 euros for no real reason. Overall this restaurant gave us exceptional service and amazing seafood. It felt like it was ran by a family dedicated on giving a memorable experience. Definitely recommend.

Super fresh fish 🦐, creative recipes 🍋, and warm service 🤗 make Marina di Santo Spirito an unmissable stop in Oltrarno. An eclectic 🎨 and convivial atmosphere, with period furnishings that create a unique atmosphere. The tasting menu, while not cheap 💰, is worth it with authentic flavors and excellent quality. 🍷 A must-try, with excellent wines to pair.

I expected better. The quality/price ratio is unjustified.

Abbiamo scelto, io e la mia famiglia, questo ristorante per festeggiare il mio 50 esimo compleanno.... Scelta azzeccatissima!....Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione e devo dire che ogni portata era ottima.. I piatti semplici ma veramente senti il sapore del pesce fresco.... Una nota va al titolare che è stato gentilissimo e molto cordiale... Torneremo sicuramente, vale la pena🔝

Ad oggi, a mio parere, il miglior ristorante di Firenze nel panorama del pesce. Storico. Inimitabile. Pesce freschissimo, scelto con la massima attenzione, cucinato con cura, servito con eleganza. Piatti assolutamente deliziosi. Fantastici anche nei piatti senza glutine (mai assaggiate delle linguine al gambero rosso cosi buone!) Oltre alla pasta, disponibili anche pane e focaccia senza glutine. Atmosfera familiare, ma raffinata. Servizio da dieci e lode. Dulcis in fundo: l’abilità nel suggerire il giusto champagne da abbinare al piatto di pesce scelto!
