The fried polenta was good, but a bit salty. The taste is like pop-corn, crispy outside and creamy inside.

An atmospheric place with traditions. As for the snack, I have mixed feelings, it's edible but nothing special. Price: 10 pcs/2 euros. Positive for tradition

The food itself is very particular, if you like corn and fried dishes it might be worth trying. The portion is very big, better to share with others.

Deep-fried polenta sounds like an unusual dish, so we, of course, wanted to try it.
We asked for a smaller portion (half), but they didn't want to sell it, and we were forced to buy 10 pieces.
They deep-fry it, then put it in a paper bag and put salt on top. However, only the first 2 or so pieces are actually salty (and taste like popcorn, interestingly), but others were pretty bland tasting. We didn't finish the portion.

Wish they would sell some parm or other add ons to boost flavor profile more.

It is worth visiting for the atmosphere and to check out the local delicacy, which in my opinion does not impress with its taste. Very salty crust.

Overall, a disappointing visit for us.
Unfortunately the hype is too big again.
The fried polenta tastes very boring or like nothing.
Service/cook annoyed and uncaring.

Sgagliozze or fried polenta, something my nona made when I was little.
And still surprises, a definite must go. Very tasty and although seemingly plain, it actually brings a surprise
