Typical restaurant! Excellent food! Perfect service and very welcoming!

Today 12/1/24 I visited the Mari Giò location, very attracted by the positive online reviews and promising features. Overall, the place is really very pleasant. The quality of the food is truly excellent, with nothing short of perfect service, the time between courses was perfect, because it gave time to "digest" what had been eaten previously. The appetizer consisted of: morsels of mozzarella, local cured meats and cheeses, seafood salad, seasonal vegetables (peppers, aubergines and courgettes in this case) all really very good and of excellent quality. There were 2 first courses, very abundant and tasty (they were brought to the table so you didn't have to choose between the 2) and were made up of: ravioli with shrimp and orecchiette with mushrooms and sausage The second courses instead included: Baked pork shank with french fries, bombette with sauce, fried fish skewers (squid and salmon) and finally prawns. This is the menu he posted this Sunday (because the menu changes weekly) There were also some children sitting with us who were obviously given a separate lunch consisting of ham and mozzarella, a nice plate of pasta with sauce and finally cutlet and chips. For adults the cost was 30 euros with drinks included, including coffee and various bitters, while for children the cost was 20 euros which however varied if the children did not eat anything. The service was excellent, with the owner of the place always present but not annoying, even the bathroom always impeccable, unfortunately I have not visited the rooms and obviously I cannot give a review on this service. In conclusion, I had a really good time, I will definitely return.

Location 8 molto carina,ambiente caldo come temperatura e come accoglienza, bagno pulito. Menù 8 menù fisso fatto bene e di buona qualità un misto mare e terra molto buone e abbondante. Servizio 8 proprietario sempre presente molto simpatico e cordiale. Prezzo 8 Con trenta euro mangiare antipasto 2 primi 2 secondi e bevande incluse con caffè e amarii... Cosa vogliamo di più? CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

We went to this restaurant and the experience was truly exceptional! Everything, from the food to the atmosphere, has been taken care of down to the smallest detail. The dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh and tasty ingredients, and the authenticity of the traditional cuisine was perceived. A special mention goes to the wine, in particular the rosé, which was truly a surprise: fresh, balanced and perfect to accompany each course. The owners are fantastic people, welcoming and always ready to make us feel at home. Their warmth and professionalism made the lunch even more special. We can't wait to return!

Very nice typical Salento place with star vaults and walls with exposed tuff. Welcoming environment and impeccable service, thanks to Andrea who welcomes you into his world with kindness and availability. The food is very good and the dishes are plentiful. And if you're still hungry you can always ask for an encore. The expense is very little compared to the quality and authenticity of what is served. Advised
