Local café away from the tourist crowds Place Located a bit far from the main tourist areas, but worth the visit. At first there were locals around, though it emptied out quickly — likely because Italians don’t usually have coffee at that hour. Food & Drinks Plenty of sweet options available. The ones we tried were good, though not outstanding. The coffee was strong and enjoyable.

We stayed very close to this location and in the mornings we stopped by for a croissant and a coffee. Every time it was delicious, and for us very conveniently located. Prices were also reasonable.

We found the bakery and stuck to it for breakfast for the entire time in Venice. The pizza were quite something. We took them and saved it for later and STILL just has yummy. We came back for the pastries and it did not disappoint. As I type this, I’m missing Venice even more. What a place

I already knew Majer for their excellent breakfasts during our visits to Venice, so we relied on them for our wedding cake—and they exceeded every expectation. The pistachio and raspberry cake, decorated with fresh fruit and flowers, was delicious, beautiful, and of impeccable quality. It was delivered directly to the restaurant, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail. We couldn't be happier with our choice: heartfelt thanks to the entire Majer team!

27/07/2025: Very pretty garden and friendly staff. The menu is neither too extensive nor too limited. There are both meat and fish options, and they're all very inviting. We opted for the meat option and were very satisfied, so much so that we're eager to return to try the fish option. They bring a welcome appetizer, which is always appreciated. The ham and horseradish were very good, as were the donkey and zucchini meatballs. The roast beef was also nothing to complain about, while the duck tagliolini were very good, but I would have liked a little more sauce. The price is in line with the quality!

Ristorante La Sosta

03/09/2025: Great place for a quick meal if staying near the airport. We had the pizza and salad. Both were very good. Large portions for the price. They do charge €1.50 per person for table service. It was so good we came back for breakfast in the morning and had the small ham and egg sandwich and a cappuccino which were both very good.
29/08/2025: Nice bar at the airport. They have a breakfast deal. Juice, coffee and a croissant for 7 euros.
