Officine Mare changes management and increases quality and service. Revisited menu, abundant and delicious dishes and excellent value for money. Tried on Easter Sunday and returned on Easter Monday. Well done well done keep it up!

The place was awesome. The only reason I have a 4 is that the food wasn’t definitely a 5. I’m not a person who regularly eats fish, but their risotto with shrimp was really good, the wine was absolutely amazing. There was also fried octopus which was too salty and I also saw that shrimps weren’t cleaned perfectly. But in the end there was a really cheerful Italian men giving me options for different wines and telling me his recommendations and general atmosphere of the restaurant was just so lovely. If you’re into seafood and want to have a good night, you can’t miss this place. Photos of the bill and the food is attached below.

We were walking with my husband through the shops on Saturday afternoon and we found ourselves in this street, we saw the MARE restaurant as it was dinner time and we said let's try what it's like here... and it was a very good choice!!! The staff were very kind and friendly. Excellent cuisine: the two gran crudo appetizers were the best, delicious as were the mussel souté, the oysters, the tagliatelle, the fried calamari and the octopus. I generally never take dessert but that evening I wanted it, the choice was between tiramisu and chocolate cheesecake, I would have opted for tiramisu because I don't like cheesecake regardless but I wanted to try it and I devoured it... excellent too that!!! I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I was here on Thursday evening: I arrived at 9.15pm, I asked if I could have dinner and I was greeted with a friendly smile. I ordered a mixed salad which was really mixed (different varieties of salads, carrots, olives, cucumbers) as well as plentiful at a cost of €4, a fried calamari (€12) and a portion of chips (€4). With water I reached €22. A place that doesn't charge for service (even though it was great service) and where the food is quality at very affordable prices. Super super recommended!

Kind and knowledgeable owner, excellent food and maximum friendliness and kindness. The two of us took: Hot starter for 2 Spaghetti with lupins X2 1 fried calamari and prawns 2 glasses of good white wine 1 water 1 grappa €90 Very rich and unique wine and grappa list

09/04/2025: An English message is going to follow the Italian one. for those looking for a place for a quiet evening with family or friends in the safety of the children being just a few steps away and under the watchful eye of a handful of welcoming boys and girls who collaborate with the restaurant to entertain the little ones while the adults relax. mothers are still welcome at the playground if they wish. the place is welcoming, very friendly staff. the menu is made up of small samples to be collected at the counter. we had a good time and will return.
