Excellent fried food Takeout service on time Location overlooking the sea

We lived very close to this restaurant. So Torre Lapillo is quite a small village in Puglia. It doesn’t have too many restaurants. There are few much more expensive, which we went to, and we asked about La Mimi fish restaurant, and we were told that the food was just ok there, nothing special, and big lines there are just because it’s a cheap restaurant. So we decided to give it a try. We went there next day, were unable to get a table same night, and booked a table in 2 days. Little that we knew, that regardless of the reservation, the wait is extremely long. We could get a reservation earlier than 9 pm. We got there and waited for 1,45 minutes to get inside . Insane!!!!! I would never wait that long anywhere. So we got in, and let me tell you- they cook extremely fast and fresh and SUPER SUPER DELICIOUS!!!! Best meal we got in all of Puglia. Lived it. Deep fried sword fish was super tender, juice and extremely tasty. And everything else was very good as well. So my advice - make a reservation for the opening time- 7:00 pm, or 7:30, so you won’t wait to be seated that long

Friendly and helpful staff... Delicious fresh fish dishes... Be careful of the ones with an asterisk (on the menu) because they're frozen. Those don't taste very good. The fish was a little overcooked. But it's always very crowded, so I think it's a fixable mix-up. The first courses were delicious. The portions were very generous. All in all, a great experience. We'll be back... Update after a year One star increase! Really good. Today there were fewer people compared to other years, perhaps because it rained a lot. We enjoyed it more. The staff is always friendly. Tips: don't order appetizers, first and second courses with sides because you're guaranteed not to finish them! Large dishes, perhaps for two to share! 2024 update after 2 years. What can I say!!! Always a guarantee!! One of the waitresses, I try to call Adriana, is incredibly kind!! THEY'RE GOOD, MADE PRACTICALLY ON THE FIRST, PLENTY OF FOOD, FRESH FISH, OYSTERS (MAKE LOVE WITH THE FLAVOR, LIKE THE YOGURT AD SAYS!!), STAFF UP TO THE TOP AND ALWAYS READY FOR ANY NEED... IN SHORT, I'D LIKE TO SAY THAT WHEN YOU WRITE REVIEWS, YOU NEED TO BE REALISTIC, OTHERWISE THEY'RE NOT DAMAGED TO THE BUSINESS, BUT ALSO TO US, THE CUSTOMERS LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO GO... THERE ARE CERTAINLY THINGS TO IMPROVE, FOR EXAMPLE, THE WAIT IN THE HOT SUN. A LITTLE TIP REGARDING WAITING CUSTOMERS WOULD BE NICE AND ABOVE ALL APPROPRIATE.. And a few other little things that aren't related to food... not that relevant.. So you can come whenever you want... actually, better not so I can find a place for us🤣

What can I say? Want to eat good fish? Mimi is the perfect place. The problem is that you have to book well in advance. They only take a couple of hours to book by phone in the morning, from 9:30 to 11:00. At other times, there's no point in trying to call; they don't answer. Alternatively, you have to book in person... but it's worth the wait.

A unique concept, with a limited menu and self-service orders. This keeps costs low, but the quality, unlike other similar establishments, is truly high. You can eat truly deliciously for much less than at regular seafood restaurants. The staff is exceptionally courteous and helpful, and the service is very prompt, thanks in part to the two-seat reservation system. The atmosphere is beautiful, and not just because of the cliffside location.

A lovely place by the sea (that says it all), the food is very good and the prices are fair. I should start by saying that it's very difficult to find a table here, and I was very lucky to eat there for lunch without a reservation. Well done 👏👏

The place has a fantastic atmosphere. Delicious food and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We had a wonderful time. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it and recommend making a reservation by calling between 9:00 and 11:00.

Crazy food, absurd quality and freshness, I recommend the mixed raw food as an appetizer and the caserecce as a first course, mega affordable prices

An informal restaurant on the Torre Lapillo seafront next to the tower where you can enjoy exquisite fresh, quality fish in generous portions. The desserts are also delicious. I recommend the lobster with custard. The prices are more than fair and the service is excellent... it's best to book well in advance.

The quality-price ratio is fair. The seafood risotto is excellent.
