2023 Ryder Cup course, wonderful and well maintained! Played several times and always with wonderful sensations. Ryder certainly gave him that leap in quality that was missing...

When i saw the Ryder Cup was coming to Rome and new i was going there on a businesstrip i just had to bring my golfclubs as well and play this course. However didnt get to do so sine the course was blocked on a early thursday due to a local tournament, that of course is my fault that didnt check availability good enough. So this review is only based on the things that i did try, driving range, putting green and restaurant. Firstly a minus is that the course is placed in the middle of absolutely nowhere. We took an Uber from the city and the local driver could not fint out where to go so we drived around for a long time. When you finally get to the gate the whole thing looks old and disbanded. Its first when you get inside the clubhouse you realize its a luxury golf club. So after the dissapointment of the news that we could not play after the hour trip we took a snack in the restaurant and shoot on the driving range. Expensive for a easy sandwich but the biggest payment was that we had to buy greenfee for hitting som balls on the driving range plus of course buy the tokens. So for just hitting som balls on the range it became over 50 euros.. The part on the driving range that was opened had very poor grass, not flat and a lot of sand and mud. Not much of an expreience that is. The grass on the putting green was amazing so to bad we didnt get to play the course, then this very well could have been a five star review 🤷🏼‍♂️

The course design is 6 out of 5 It’s absolutely superb. There’s no getting away from that, but my god it’s totally let down by everything else that goes with playing a signature course. Arrival 1/5 No one there to greet you, take your clubs (we rented but the service isn’t there) or just confirm you actually arrived at the correct location. Pro Shop 2/5 Staff were friendly and helpful, but the lack of merchandise was shameful for the latest host course of the Ryder Cup. Bar/Restaurant 1/5 Again the staff were fine but it’s such a massive disappointment. Little more than an industrial building with a bar and some tables. Locker rooms 1/5 They were absolutely stinking! Starter 0/5 No one there, the balls were already tee’d up when 2 guys raced up on a golf cart to do the bare minimum. For a premium location and price, you at least expect a starter to see you off right and give you course/cart instructions. Greens 2.5/5 They rolled perfectly but FK ME! It was as if they had been the victim of a mortor strike, the amount of unrepaired pitch marks were a complete disgrace. I must have fixed 5-8 per green for the full 18. Handing out a proper welcome pack would help solve this, a pitch mark repairer, tees and ball marker in a tee bag would be far better gift than a water bottle.

A beautiful facility that makes every golfer's heart beat faster. Just arriving is a pleasure. The reception and the restaurant were all super friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. On the golf course you feel like a great golfer. It was a really nice experience!!!

Home to a Ryder Cup, a particularly challenging course especially on the greens which are difficult for non-experts to read. Definitely worth playing at least once for a golfer

Structurally the place is very nice, the staff who work there are friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the welcome is noteworthy and the coffee is equally so. The camp itself was under maintenance, so it wasn't in "top shape"... shame, if you knew it beforehand...

When entering the airport in Rome, Italy, there is the Vatican, so I saw a lot of priests and nuns dressed up, but I was surprised to see an Asian couple walking back and forth with a golf bag. Going to Italy to play golf? This was the reaction. Marco Simone visited the Ryder Cup near Rome. My Google profile picture was the one hanging in the clubhouse. As I am writing this review in Korean, it has been several years since the already planned tournament was postponed due to the coronavirus and the Ryder Cup was held in France. Marco Simone in my memories~ This golf course is located near Tivoli, east of Rome. It is a golf course scheduled to host the 2022 Ryder Cup. So, I will remember playing golf with wife here for a long time. The staff was friendly and the people who played leisurely looked good. The club house menu was also satisfactory.
