Marco Simone On the Green Restaurant & Bar In Roma

It was my first time at Marco Simone, and the Ryder course is fantastic! Course full of ups and downs, difficult to read and fast greens, uphill or downhill, slopes everywhere, it is almost never possible to shoot on level ground. And that's the beauty of golf. Fairways not wonderful, turf not as uniform as I would have expected, but perhaps in this season you can't ask for more. Excellent bunkers. To give 5 stars I would have to try the camp in spring/summer. Overall all very good.

As expected, it is the best golf course. The stench of the locker room is the highlight. Even though it was a hot summer, it was a bit disappointing. It didn't really matter because I was there to play golf, it was the best experience.

I recently participated in a wonderful evening organized by the Council of the Tivoli Bar Association at the Marco Simone Golf Club in Guidonia Montecelio. Set in an enchanting location, the club offers stunning views and elegant facilities. The evening was carefully organized and the live music added a special touch to the event, creating a perfect atmosphere. The friendly and professional staff guaranteed impeccable service. The rooftop terrace, with its view of the golf courses, was an ideal place to socialize. I highly recommend this place for those looking for a refined and evocative setting for special events.

Played here in July 2024, stayed at the hotel right next door (which is perfect). Course is amazing and likely the best greens I’ve played. Rough isn’t terrible, it’s the fescue that you just need to avoid at all costs. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, also wasn’t very busy and the two rounds I played were less than 4 1/2 hours. Club house isn’t nearly as bad as everyone says in previous reviews. The restaurant is perfect and the lunch I had after the round was really good. Only thing to realize is the pro shop doesn’t have a ton of merchandise, but if you’re coming here and basing your entire trip off the club house and not the course then you’re prioritizing the wrong thing. Must do if you’re in Rome!
