Well done 👍 family management, relaxed atmosphere. I had excellent wines and sandwiches filled with quality raw materials. The food offering is a bit limited but very honest for a basic lunch.

Characteristic place on Lake Venere, where you can find excellent sandwiches and salads, without forgetting the desserts, good almond granita with zibibbo...good prices, kind and helpful owners. It's worth a stop.

We ate for lunch at MaRai during our last visit to Pantelleria in mid-September. The setting is very pleasant, we eat outside by the lake, there are animals roaming freely around the tables (dog, cat, chickens, geese). We had pantesche salads (very good), and panini (unfortunately served cold). The pannelle appetizers were excellent. As far as reception is concerned, it depends on who you come across...

Really very nice farm, on the shores of Lake Venere, absolutely friendly and welcoming staff, it is not a luxurious place, it doesn't have to be, it is a place to find relaxation and rest after perhaps having been in the sun all morning, or to have an aperitif in the early afternoon in total relaxation. Marvelous.

Tornati per la terza volta in periodi diversi, si conferma ambiente all’aperto che usa prodotti locali e/o auto prodotti di ottima qualità che si ritrovano in ottime pietanze. Ciliegina finale eccellente granita al fico d’india.

Il locale si trova sulla sponda del lago di Venere. Non è immediatamente visibile dalla strada ma basta fare qualche passo in più per vederlo. L’azienda è a gestione familiare e il proprietario sarà ben lieto di illustrarvi quanto presente in menù.
Abbiamo preso un antipasto alla siciliana (caponata, panelle e primo sale con olive e pomodori secchi), due insalate pantesche e due granite (mandorla e passito una e fichi d’india l’altra).
Tutto ottimo e a prezzi davvero onesti.
Abbiamo anche acquistato una confezione di capperi da portare a casa.

It's a very nice place to eat a sandwich or salad at a good price! We have been there several times and have always had a good time, the only "flaw" is a boy who doesn't even say hello or says anything to customers, gets the order wrong and doesn't even say "sorry", a bit rude, a shame because the others are all polite and kind.
