Very quiet and familiar atmosphere, from the first visit for work bringing a large group of tourists to the second with parents for Mother's Day. Pasta clearly reigns supreme and was the subject of both my lunches, the traditional ones were excellent as well as the more modern dishes included in the various menus offered. Popular and unbeatable price for quality, size and simple elegance of the portions. The tourists were surprised by the accessibility of a very satisfying meal, so Italian with wine by the bottle. My parents were surprised by the simplicity but still masterful creation of the dishes. I was surprised by the notoriety of the place and by my first visit, unfortunately six years after it opened I will certainly return when for lunch in the neighborhood or for family celebrations ..hoping to also try the rest of the menu offering having tasted each of the first courses in just two visits.

In Caserta, right in the city center, a stone's throw from the Royal Palace and the train station, there is a little place with the delightful name "Mother's Kitchen". That's right! There is friendliness and kindness in the welcome and there is love and delicacy in the food prepared, just like in a mother's home, it is not a restaurant, it is not a trattoria, it is home. Everything to make your palate and mood happy. Small example…? Giant meatball with sauce and aubergine parmigiana, excellent! But there is fresh fish, typical dishes of great quality from the area and every delicacy you want. A certainty at a fair cost!

What more can I say, I recommend her, you won't regret it.

While on holiday in Caserta I discovered this restaurant: family atmosphere, tasty cuisine with excellent wines, friendly and helpful staff, the bill was really honest for what we ate, I would go back without a shadow of a doubt.

We found a truly exceptional restaurant in Caserta, we were welcomed by a truly courteous girl and we ate very well. I advise you to book before visiting the Royal Palace of Caserta. Some energy needs to be put under your breath before a long walk.

Highly recommended place. The house suggestions are excellent as is the rest of the menu. Fried foods and pasta and potatoes are super.

Stanchissimi e delusi in quanto la reggia di Caserta era chiusa per giorno di riposo… ci siamo consolati in questo piccolo ristorante che ci ha lasciati senza parole. Partiamo con la gentilezza nell’averci accolto alle 14 e 20 per mangiare, ringraziamo il proprietario e la cameriera(gentilissima). I piatti erano tutti buonissimi e abbondanti, non c’era nessun difetto. Complimenti veramente. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
